Restaurant and THE place in the Yarra Valley to buy all the chocolate, coffee and tea you could desire! This is a VERY busy place, especially in summer! Be prepared to wait for a table, or line up for their ice creamery ... Food is reasonable, but this is a tourist stop-off place so prices can be a little of the high side. Their hot chocolate - white, milk or dark - is the real deal. I needed to take time over mine as I found it quite heavy on my stomach, but that was not a negative ... just an observation. Plenty to see and special packages of chocolate, tea, coffee and candy are able to be purchased for gifts or to take home overseas. Staff are friendly and helpful, even tho it can be extremely busy. Lovely lawns and view if you want to wander and relax.

We found this place just by driving by; we enjoyed a very tasty afternoon tea. The fondue for 2 was a great size to share, huge range of treats to dip into the chocolate of your choice. We loved the dark chocolate. The iced chocolate drink we ordered was lacking some chocolate flavouring, but the vanilla bean ice cream in it was very yummy. The shop is defiantly worth a wander through. The samples of the chocolate bud flavours is a must too. We will definitely be back.

Had a nice brunch here before heading back to Melbourne. The food was good and a helpful staff member found us some nice chocolate-covered coffee beans that weren't on display. The area around the Chocolaterie is nice for a quick walk and some pictures, and it's obviously kid-friendly. Will go again when I'm in the area.

We visited here on Monday, for my birthday, much to our disappointment. My husband ordered the fish and chips, I ordered the zucchini fritters and my teenagers ordered the waffle and burger and chips. My husbands chips were cold and so were my zucchini fritters. My sons waffle was burnt, but the burger and chips were yum. We told the waitress the chips and fritters were cold, but sadly she didn't look interested. She said I'll call a supervisor. He came over and offered to replace our meals. We didn't bother mentioning the waffle was burnt. The food returned at a good temperature, but not as hot as it should have been. Also, our table wasn't cleared at all. We were there for about an hour and a half with all our dirty plates still sitting there. One waitress did mention she was going to return and clear our plates but never did. The venie wasn't that busy. There were alot of free tables, so i don't understand why the service and food was poor. It's a beautiful venue with beautiful views. It wasn't our first visit there and one day we do hope to return. I just hope that the service and quality improve if we return. Very disappointing lunch overall. Table 5 at approximately 2pm.

Food was dreadful. First the waiter told me I couldn’t have eggs because I have too many allergies WOW!! Their menu states about 10 different allergies mmm well clearly not ! The manager had to come out to ask me more about my allergies and said it was fine to have just eggs on gluten free toast with mushrooms ( my allergies are no milk/ gluten/fish/crustacean.) This is what I had already ordered! we eat out a great deal ! The waiter was so rude. Would never eat there again nor recommend anyone to eat there after such an appalling experience. My wife had fried eggs with bacon & avocado, the toast was a rock couldn’t even break it. The bacon was tough and reheated , my wife isn’t fussy and eats anything however not this!! Horrible food !! Staff need to be educated how to go about good customer service!

Lovely and striking building overlooking gorgeous Yarra Valley farmland. The building itself is very modern, the staff are lovely and there is a wide variety of chocolates, sweets, teas, even personal care items. Highly recommended.

This is one of the Yarra Valley's most popular destinations. This is the country, where things move a little slower. As a result, there's often a crowd waiting to be served.. The young ones will love rhe ice-cream, while the parents will drool over the delicious home-made chocolates. This the Yarra Valley and things are done country-style, so bare with the servers while they attend to their guests

We visit the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery every time we visit the Yarra Valley. The hand-made chocolates are scrumptious and the ice-cream comes in great variety. There are lots of other things to taste. It's a place to indulge your taste-buds,

Extremely Disappointed. I’d fallen in love with the Turkish Delight ice cream a while ago. It was then the best ever. I got it plus another flavour, which was so lacking any flavour can’t remember what it was. The ice cream seemed to have only lots of colour and that was about it. No Turkish delight in the pink ice cream. My friend had 1 sultana in her “rum and raisin”. We saw no “covid safety”, in place.

The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery is a "must see" in the Yarra Valley. There are chocolates in a wide variety, showing a great deal of artifice. The chocolates show a European heritage. And don't forget to try one of the delicious ice-creams, which come in a medley of flavours

This is a great place to visit on a hot summer day. The ice-cream was delicious and servings were generous. And chocolate samples - milk, dark & white - were plentiful. A great place to add to your itinerary in the Yarra Valley.

A lovely selection of different sorts of chocolate. There is a window cut out in the shop so you can see them making the chocolate, its pretty interesting. A little ice creamery where you can purchase ice cream. Not somewhere were you can spend all day but you can kill a few hours.

This is worth a visit just to immerse yourself in total chocolate. There are opportunities to taste dark, milk and white chocolate, to watch chocolate being manufactured including the signature freckles. Plenty of chances to buy as well.

The chocolatery has expanded recently which has created more seating (a couple more bus loads) It still has an enormous selection of chocolate gifts and that fabulous view of vineyards and Allwyn Gardens, my personal favourite. Good to go for a coffee and indulge in a little chocolate or two. Can be very crowded and noisy, choose your timing.

I went in the afternoon hoping for afternoon tea and a stroll in the shops and it was so busy that I left and went back the next day upon opening. There was no social distancing at all. I bought a selection of cakes to take home, most of them were delicious. The shop was also much more pleasant to wonder around and make a purchase. The truffles are to die for and a must try. The staff were friendly and appreciative that I returned to make a purchase.
