NEWMASON, Warragul

This was attached to the Mecure hotel where we staying. The staff were friendly and service was spot on. The food was honest and the wood fired pizza was decent. Convenient for a bite to eat when staying in the hotel.

Worst meal ever never again

Australia Day a time for good food the seafood at this restaurant was mostly crap the crayfish was disgusting you would be better of chewing on a bike tyre the other sea food was cold and partly frozen didn’t even get the scallop as advertised...@ $40 for a few chips never againMore

Tasty food and good service

In our group of four we loved the food, especially the Chicken Parma which was cooked to perfection. The service was fast and friendly and they readily observed the current rules around Covid restrictions. Newmasons is a great combination of bar, pub and restaurant. Good...for a drink and also good to take your family to for a quality meal.More

On the slide

Getting worse unfortunately. Not a good sign to see new staff every visit. It’s local, convenient and to my chagrin, I keep dropping in for a quick dinner (my son like the chicken 🍗). Food is ok, service is very ordinary, one of those places...where the kids working there don’t understand what a customer is.More

Worst meal ever - Never again

Ribs where so hard and no meat. What meat there was so dry and was like splinters. The sauce given was burnt oil and has stunk the house out. The kids pizza bottom was not cooked and doughy. The worst ever meal we have ever...tried to eat.More

Delicious Pizza

Enjoyed the very tasty Vegetarian thin based pizza, a large variety of fresh veggies, garlic and feta cheese delivered to hotel on site. Would definitely visit again.

Mean Spirited

I dropped into Newmason this morning and purchased a coffee as I do at least once a week, although last Sunday 26th July, I purchased a $40 bottle of sparkling wine, and desert. Today as I was picking up my coffee it slipped from my...hand and fell on the floor. The waiter came over and cleaned it up as I am apologising for the trouble. He asked me if I had drank any of it, and I said no I had not, he then asked me if I would like another cup, I said thank you I would. He came back and said I would have to pay for another one. Oh dear you will get more traction from excellent customer service, than you ever will, by being mean spirited.More

Business lunch

Fantastic experience

Meals were absolutely delicious! Kids had an awesome time playing in the play area which definitely made a more relaxed experience for us! My husband had the flinstone steak - he has not stopped talking about how good it was! Also, the staff were very...friendly and looked to be enjoying their jobs very much.More

Great lunch and venue.

Recently caught up with work friends at the Newmason and was amazed at the overall service and menu options. Great place to catch up with plenty of parking. Only 2 minutes walk to railway. The menu had great options and well priced. Will go again.
