Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What on earth has happened to this business. I've been coming here for lunch every month or two for the last 16 years. In that time there was always a good selection of well cooked & tasty food to buy. Seems like different people now...running the shop. Went in for lunch a couple of months ago & there was only about half the normal selection of fried food in the bain marie & no pies or anything else in the pie oven. What I bought wasn't really nice & just edible, nothing like the food from the previous 16 years. Go in today at 11.55am to buy some lunch & walked out with nothing. Don't know if the food would have been edible today, because there WAS no food. NO pies, sausage rolls or anything else in the pie oven. NO fried foods of any description in the bain marie, no sandwiches in that section. I'll never be back, you've lost me!More

Pizza was lovely and had plenty of topping. Staff was very attentive, polite and friendly. Would recommend highly, also had plenty of options for all tastes.

Arriving in town I had hoped for more food options... but alas driving through the dimly lit Main Street this was the only place open. Clearly the local takeaway - this has fast food and pizzas. Dad had the fish and chips while I had...a steak sandwich. Dad said he hopes never to have another meal like it ever. My steak sandwich was actually good - basic , but good. The mistake I made was ordering a potato cake ... it was unpleasant and greasy. There is street parking - small tables inside. The best part for us was the service- I thought the girl serving was really nice.More

Last night we bought four large pizzas for dinner and my son's friends (as they celebrated his 18th Birthday). I can't say how impressed I was. The bases were light fluffy and not hard. The toppings where generous to say the least and the flavours...wonderful. Well done to everyone at Reid's for supplying this wonderful takeaway in a small town where the options can be few and poor.More

As per the title, wonderfully staffed. Regardless of what time of day or evening I go here, there is sufficient, well informed and pleasant staff. Anything I have wanted from the menu they are only too happy to provide - even if the hamburgers are...confusing, they smile obligingly and make it with no dramas. Plenty of options from the hot box during the busy times as well as options from the menu board which are made to order. There are also pre-made sandwiches and rolls for those in a hurry. In the cold display there are also last minute items you may need such as margarine, cheeses etc - very handy. Full drinks fridges should make everyone's choices easy as well as chips and lollies galore. After 5pm there is also a pizza shop which swings into action. The pizzas are amongst the best I have ever had. I'm not sure if it is run by a different company, but it is in the same shop front as Reid's, so I'll comment on it here. The only thing I have to complain about is the large pieces of bacon on the pizza - please cut them smaller ! thanks Reids!More

I usually make my own pizzas, but was short on time and desperate so I called into to RMB pizza and ordered 3 pizzas a cheese, ham and pineapple plus a chicken and bacon. I was disappointed in not only the quality of ingredients but...the overall taste with one pizza being over cooked/ burnt. I also witness one of the staff opening a sauce bottle with his teeth which I was astonished and reported it to another staff member.More

Stopped for a snack, nice chicken and chips, plenty of hot food available, reasonably priced, service ok but they were young kids, not a bad little takeaway considering it was the only one open on a Sunday.

We had very good and reasonably priced coffee at a table outside. The street is old-world charming, but the shops are up-to-date.

Inside and sidewalk dining as well as a little side nook. Coffee hot but weak and almost all milk. Reasonable range of sweet treats with limited range of savoury snacks. Gluten free advertised as available.

Terrible coffee!! Bitter, boiling hot. They do not know how to make a coffee. Food looked nice, but need some barista training.

We came through St Arnaud and was looking for a bite of lunch. Came across this little place and it was perfect. Enjoyed our sweet chilli chicken wraps and drinks before heading onward. Service was friendly, fast and there is quite a big range of...food on offer. Pies, chicken, rolls etc. Large drinks fridge too. Seating inside and a few tables outside too. Great takeaway and we would visit again.More
