How is Kelly's Bar and Kitchen rated?

My wife and I had dinner here recently during our holiday in Mount Dandenong where we stayed in a holiday cottage nearby. My wife had fish and chips while I had a Scotch fillet steak and a beer. The food was good. Service was okay....Prices were reasonable.More

Fantastic steak

The steaks here are absolutely amazing! And worth the price. Quality food and fantastic craft beers on tap in a lovely setting. Well done Kellys it’s hard to get quality pub style meals these days.

Delicious, relaxed and friendly

We had a steak, schnitzel, chili popcorn chicken and cob bread. Everything was delicious and hot. They have indoor and outdoor seating, heaters for their outdoor tables, and a smoking area on two sides of the restaurant (one you can sit with a drink and...one where no drinks are allowed). The service was friendly and quick and we had no trouble being seated even though it was busy. We even enjoyed the music they chose. If we lived here, we would be regulars!More

Great atmosphere

We popped in for an unplanned meal on Sunday evening and managed to get a great table outdoors, surrounded by greenery under gorgeous festoon lights. The service was prompt and friendly, the menu was awesome and had great variety and the food delicious. We'll be...back.More

Great service and good selection of beers

Have visited this restaurant for dinner and lunch at both busy and quiet times. Fantastic friendly service each time. The menu is not big but what they do offer is very good. Great atmosphere too. It has a rustic pub feel with the log post...and beam building and stone fireplace.More

Follow the locals.

The locals fill this place up. We arrived at 5.30pm as the change over from after work beers gave way to dinner. Great, hearty meals for a cold night and a wide selection of drinks to go with it. Nice warm welcome goes with the...wood fire and great service follows.More

Really lovely atmosphere and great food!

We stopped for dinner on a Thursday night and really enjoyed our meals! Staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was yum. We both ordered steak and they were cooked really well. Would definitely recommend!

Good simple food

Food is not flash and menu quite basic but surprisingly tasty. We were struggling to find anywhere still serving at 8pm on a Thursday. Staff were very pleasant and the beef stroganoff was simple but lovely. Serves were decent sizes and prices very reasonable. Unfortunately...for us no live music on Thursdays! Would recommend.More

Another Lovely Bar

Lovely location, and great selection of beers. Warm and relaxing, and very peaceful as well. Great place for a beer, or even a meal. Liked it a lot.

Country pub

Fantastic service, the meals were just like traditional home cooked, nothing too fancy but delicious. They also let mum and I share a plate of pasta and even seperate dishes for us. Recommend a visit.

Good quality food and sizeable

Good quality food and sizeable portions. Called in with my daughter as the menu looked straightforward an£ reasonably priced. We had a steak and a chicken schnitzel and I ordered a side of veggies. Wow was that impressive almost a meal in itself. Try the...local pale ale too that was right up there. Really friendly folks too. Pay them a visit.More

Very Very Good

Recommend to us by our hotel owner so let’s try. Warm welcome and advised live music would be playing so we Decided to sit outside. Very polite and friendly staff, and great choice of food and drinks. We decided on local beer with Chicken Schnitzel,...calamari and Parma chicken.. That’s the chicken with bacon and cheese on! Food came out pretty quick and was fresh and tasty... we all finished our dishes.... Around $40 each not too bad with tip for a lovely evening. I recommend and would use again.More

Lovely ambience

We came here with friends for lunch Two had the tuna mornay pie and to be honest it was only just - looked like tuna pasta in a . Pastry - didn’t really taste great . I had a steak and it was cooked to...perfection - I loved it ! We were there with the guy playing guitar and singing and he was fabulous !More
