Visited on a Sunday morning, the cafe was freezing, everyone was wearing their winter jackets trying to say warm. Coffee order came out wrong, food came out cold. I ordered the veggie breakfast and it tasted like it had been sitting there for a while,...my partner ordered the smashed avocado and he said it was so cold it could have come straight out of the fridge, our daughters pancake was also ice cold. We could only eat a few bites before settling the expensive bill and walking up to the Olinda cafe for some delicious sausage rolls. Very disappointing.More

With one foot in the door were told from behind the bar that no table service was available as staff were all on breaks and needed to catch up. Business must be booming, though there were many spare tables. All we wanted was a coffee...or a take away even but did not even get a chance. Sadly it also has a sign at the door saying ‘shop local, support local’. Well, we tried. This is the second time this has happened to us so we won’t be back.More

first time for us from the UK, it was delightful warm cosy fire, lovely atmosphere, staff were very friendly and proficient, the food was gorgeous, I had a baked potato, coleslaw with sourcream, also on the menu, eggs benedict, this was enjoyed by my partner....a lovely time was had by all.More

We parked next to the cafe and shopped for take away and tried coffee and sweets in the car. Then my 7 year old son had to go to the toilet. When we entered the cafe when it was open, they said very rudely that...they cleaned the toilet and we could not use it. Definitely do not go to this place when there are many nice and nice places in olinda! !More

Stopped here on my cycle ride for hot Broccoli Soup on a cold and wet winter's day in The Dandenongs. Service, warm log fire and soup were all excellent.

Dropped in for breakfast without a booking, but staff were able to accommodate us. The waiter explained that they were busy and understaffed and apologized preparing us to have some patience. No need, our order was taken swiftly and we were kept up to date...on the progress of our order. Our meal was great and the staff were friendly and professional. We felt we didn’t wait any longer for our meals than any other restaurant we had been too. Keep up the good work guys!More

Sunday breakfast is a joy and today my friends and I tried Ranges at Olinda. We were there right on opening while they were still setting up, but were quickly directed to a table. It was a pleasant morning, so we decided to change our...table to one on the outside deck and enjoyed the fresh air of Olinda. Our very nice coffees came quickly and our nicely presented meals came shortly afterwards. Strangely, my partner couldn't have her eggs scrambled and had to settle for having them poached. I selected smashed avo and I really enjoyed it. Another round of coffees finished off a good breakfast.More

Save yourself disappointment and go elsewhere. The food is poor, dry, old with absolutely no attention to detail (dry coleslaw, thin cardboard toast with no butter). When we asked for butter, it came in a dish swimming with water. When we provided feedback to the...manager, he got defensive and refuted our comments ... which is the ultimate in poor customer service. Never again.More

Came here for coffee after cycling up 'The Wall '. Service and coffee were very good. On to Emerald and back via Kallista and Tecoma.

Charged $47 for two pies and two soft drinks and had to wait half an hour for them on what seemed like a quiet day. Hands down the worst cafè we’ve been to, don’t waste your time.

Seriously. Don’t bother coming here. Waited an hour for our food, and they got my friends meal wrong not once but twice. My friend had things floating around in her drink and the restaurant was absolutely filthy. This place has seen no love in a...long time. Food was barely average and my chai tasted like milk and nothing else. I had a ricotta sausage roll and a chai vanilla latte and my friend had a beef sausage roll.
