Great spot for a lunch in the scenic Dandenong area. The staff are friendly and very attentive to your needs. The food was plentiful and delicious. Looking forward to going back again soon.

We dined here for a family celebration and were delighted with the whole experience. The building and surrounds are beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was attentive, friendly and helpful. Our waitress added to the occasion with her wonderfully cheerful personality.

Great food fantastic service & lovely atmosphere we sat outside under cover looking out to the garden food was excellent we took home what we couldn’t eat. The bottomless scones were so fresh still hot from the oven.

The food is very very good authentic Chinese and reasonably priced considering the quality. Fabulous Peking Duck, gorgeous dumplings and some seriously good looking mains coming out. High tea looks superb and you would need a good appetite to finish it. Service is need of...some improvement though.More

We went to the Tea House for my sister’s birthday. We decided to have the High Tea. They were very accommodating as we had to change the date 2 times. The drive up and the grounds of the Tea House are beautiful. Unfortunately for us...there were too many sweet items on the High Tea and not enough savoury. We would have preferred a few more sandwiches and less dessert items. If we go again we would try the ordinary menu as that looked nice. Would I recommend the High Tea? Probably NOT .More

Not the ordinary but finest Afternoon Tea experience in the Dandenong - with an amazing Asian twist🫶🏻 so perfect for celebrations / (girls) dates✨ we had so much fun sitting on the ‘swinging’ chairs😆

Fantastic food and service. Live musician was also fantastic! Highly recommend the Olinda Tea House for any function.

Magnificent. Couldn’t recommend it enough. They do stick tightly to the timeframes as have others booked and I can see why. Couldn’t not fault a thing. The food was light and delicate and exquisitely presented, the teas were also lovely. It is a little pricey...but worth it.More

High tea $73 pp on Saturday for 2 hrs. Mentioned several times come on time, leave on time. Was told by the restaurant , open fire etc. Photos on website lovely.....Reality...we were placed outside on a plastic covered enclosed deck( booked 2 months in ADVANCE)....In front of main door into restaurant from deck, next to stored gas bottles, stacked children's high chairs and spare chairs. Tables very close together, and was the "main thoroughfare for wait staff.Scones were doughy and under cooked. The food presentation was lovely. The quality, was not. Everything, apart from the egg sandwich and tiny potato fried ball, was cream stuffed..The macaroon was soo chewy it was not edible. The male waiter was just plain rude. Standing waiting for me to finish eating , with one hand inches from my plate so he could take it. Saying, "eat you eat, I take, eat eat" As soon as it was in my mouth , he GRABBED my plate. ( this was one hour into our two hour allotted time. He kept touching our plates and platters, telling us to "eat, hurry "..it was mortifying. I would not recommend overpriced under cooked and extremely disappointing. Left 1 hour 15 mins in.More

Very nice selection for the High tea. A tad overpriced tho. There is an awful smell when outside in the gardens, when I mentioned it to a staff member they commented and said it's all natural. All I can say good thing we didn't need...to sit outside.More
