We have been going to the Savoy for Christmas for years, but after last year's Christmas never again, the seats were so close together we all felt like sardines. The food wasn't as good as previous years and paying the same we have always paid for the kids which normally we don't mind BECAUSE previous years the price included an age and gender specific present from Santa. Last year there was no Santa nor presents so it was a very expensive plate of chips for the kids. Disappointing as more we are needing to find new Christmas venue.

We ate dinner here during a getaway with my sister and her husband. The meals are generous and well presented. The highlight of the night though was the welcoming atmosphere created by the attentive and friendly staff. They happily shared local wines and dessert choices and the Ferraro Berbera wine and local Muscat were bang on!! Perfect, simple night out for two couples who were glad they could just walk back to their hotel next door after those wines!! Lots of room If you’re there with larger groups too.

We were driving thru the town and as it was lunch time we decided to stop at Club Savoy. It was a cold day and the 4 of us decided to try their pasta meals. We were told they had a new chef from Romania. All in our group were of Italian descent and agreed this chef's bolognaise sauce was the best restaurant sauce we've ever had. Shame we don't live closer so we can go again.

Fantastic, was very surprised by this place and specifically the quality of the food…chips, garlic cheese bread, home made lasagne , surf and turf…300gm scotch cooked rare perfectly, no fat, 2 king prawns and a scallop in garlic sauce, and home made (beautiful crispy cannolis)…and importantly very very tasty Carlton on tap. Def go here. We stayed next door at the Alpine hotel, stay there - recommended.

Dinner on a Monday night early in the New Year and the place was very busy. 6 of us ordered meals which were all generous and delicious, everybody was very pleased. Service was efficient and fast. Decor a bit dated being a sports club but couldn’t fault the meals or service

I give this place an average but I'd say it's a little above because the food was ok it was tasty but nothing special but the staff were wonderful, quick, friendly and attentive, very well priced. Only issue they have if you call it an issue is that they had only one EFTPOS machine, staff were running that thing between the bar and the food order register. Come on management buy another one for your wonderful staff they deserve it.

Visited this club not long after Victoria was let out of lockdown as I had some family business up this way. I was looking for a basic pub meal and decided to pop in and see what was available. At this point in time, all pubs and restaurants were required to check ID'S to ensure all visitors were from regional Victoria. I entered the club only to be sent between 2 different rooms to look for wait staff to find me a seat. I then showed my ID (I am from regional victoria) and was treated extremely rudely by a middle aged waitress that kept looking at me as though I was breaking some sort of unspoken rule. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that I left the venue and looked for a different restaurant. I won't be returning anytime soon.

Our cyle group of 40 came here for dinner (in staggered sittings) - excellent again! Menu choices are excellent including Grilled Barramundi, Roast of the Day and Saltimbocca. Fast service.

Our cycle group of 42 came her for dinner (they opened the restaurant on a Monday just for us). Service and food were once again, brilliant. Good value too. Best was Vegetable Pile.

Called in here unexpectedly for lunch. Was not disappointed.
Food was absolutely fantastic.
So many good choices.
Some amazing Italian dishes.
Front of house young lady Jodie was amazing, helpful and really welcoming. Shes obviously an asset to the club.
All staff we encountered were really nice.
I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on this place.
I can't wait to go back again and try the rest of the menu.
Worth the 50 minute drive.
My only regret is not having enough room for dessert.
The canoli looked amazing so did the lemon tart.

Our cycle group of 40 came here for dinner on two nights while we were in Myrtleford. Service and food were excellent - best dishes were the Grilled Barramundi and the Pila di Melanzane.

Our large cycle group came here for dinner. Menu choices were great. Beetroot and Goats Cheese Salad was good. Many were jealous of those who had the Eggplant dish.

What a place to go for a meal, I had a pensioner meal which was a chicken parmigiana with chips and salad. If that was a pensioner meal I'm glad I didn't order a normal size. It was HUGE! and delicious.

We had dinner here on a Friday night. I had the steak special, my wife had risotto. Both meals were very ordinary. Poor cut of steak and the risotto was swimming in liquid, it was almost a soup. We didn’t t finish our meals and left to grab a bite elsewhere. On the other hand the staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. They couldn’t be faulted. I won’t be eating here again
