Went for a birthday lunch with 5 family members and ordered mussels which was okay. The others ordered fish and chips and burger. They all said it was okay. Service was good staff were friendly. The view is always amazing. After many visits of the years it is consistently okay.

Dinner was a fixed price with a set meal and 3 courses. First course Sashimi for two. Fresh fish, salmon, oysters, mussels, puppies and large prawn all were excellent. Second course Large Schnapper pieces from fish fried with baked potatoes and served with an Asian salad was again excellent. Third course an assortment of deserts to tempt and while not... More

Our local hosts recommended this restaurant as one of the best in the area. We have mixed opinions. The location is impressive overlooking the harbour. (Very wet and stormy on the day we visited.) Our Scallop starters were excellent. The my wife ordered the Spaghetti di mare (Excellent) and I ordered the crab tempura with Miso soup. The tempura was... More

Meal was superb, could not fault the cooking , presentation, size of the serve or the waiting time. Definitely not a place to eat if your on a budget. Stair access to dining area, not good if you have health problems but the view once there is ok.

Would definitely go back again and it was so relaxing sitting in the sun with a wine and seafood of King prawns and calamari. Will definitely go back again. Great wine menu too

Loved coming to this place, we need to drive about 1hour from Melbourne so it's that should indicate how we much we enjoyed dining here. Unfortunately last week when we dined for lunch my partner found a sautéed fly in amongst his cooked prawns. Whilst we understand mistakes happen they don't get much worse than this as the fly must... More

Dear Sir, I was very disappointed to read your comments. As you noted, you loved coming to the rocks and have travelled great distances for what I would hope have been all positive experiences. You are totally correct by saying accidents happen, although we do our best to prevent these types of mistakes, the open kitchen and open air waterfront... More

We visited twice within the week. Our fist time experience was so positive we had to share it with others. The setting is lovely , overlooking the harbour at Mornington ( with easy parking) and the dining area is bright, modern and airy. The menu is predominantly seafood but with Asian influence to some of the dishes like dumplings and... More

Lovely, spacious upstairs restaurant with a wide beautiful view of the Mornington Peninsula.Plenty of inside seating and some outside seating overlooking the bay. The decor is quirky and nautically themed. The staff is friendly and very helpful, without being obtrusive. What we had off the menu was delicious. My kale salad with atlantic salmon, a poached egg, thinly sliced radishes... More

I enjoyed dinner with my family at The Rocks during January, The fresh seafood was amazing. I enjoyed a scallop dish whilst other family members enjoyed a number of seafood dishes all were delicious. We had an amazing bombe Alaska for dessert. also enjoyed a bottle of Mornington Penninsula Sauvignon Blanc. Very nice.
