We paid way too much for toasted sandwiches. When asked for water for my children I was offered bottled water. When I said no they gave us two cups, half filled with warm water from the coffee machine.
We stopped at Milawa Bakery on our way to Bright for lunch. Nice display of rolls, pastries and cakes. The service was quite pleasant. The salad rolls were really good. Make sure you stop and enjoy on your travels.
Quick and easy lunch when we arrived for a 2 night stay at Milawa. Pies were amazing, and lots of choices. My curry beef was great.
Lovely HOT coffee which we look forward to as well. Assorted sweet Bakery treats and a nice clean shop...with social distancing in place.More
I think some of the reviews on this page are for a different place because I couldn’t see the pastries that are in some photos. When we visited they just had a basic croissant, pies, sandwiches and some slices. We got coffee and hot chocolate...(which were fine), and some vanilla slices (which were average).More

Yes there is confusion with us (Milawa Bakery Cafe) and the (Cheese
Factory Bakery). You visited us, Milawa Bakery Cafe.
Hope you had a great Xmas, and Happy New Year.
Great bakery, very friendly staff, great and well priced food. Had a fabulous iced coffee on a VERY hot day. Because of the hot day sat inside. May as well have sat outside as inside was not comfortable, very warm, don’t think air conditioning is...all that great. Suggest they look into it, as summer up here in the north east is hot!More
We saw the General store "cafe" first. The 2 staff were busy so we waited....and waited. Then we read that there were no toilets available - they are located a 2 minute walk away so we left and stopped at the Bakery. Completely different -...3 ladies on duty, served by a friendly lady seconds after arriving, toilets available. I ordered the pepper steak pie and a sausage roll and my wife ordered a roast beef relish and lettuce sandwich. Nice pie not quite as peppery as i like but tastes vary. Good range of bakery goods ready to go.More
