Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I enjoyed visiting the country bakery for lunch and breakfast during our stay. Lovely home made soup and gf bread and the vegetarian breakfast was great value for money. Beautiful setting. Plenty of seating. Better options than Beechworth bakery in Healesville for a coieliac person.

Opens at 7 so it was perfect for an early Breakfast. In addition to the usual bakery offerings they also do full meals. It’s a big indoor area and the tables were regularly cleaned. I chose the pepper steak pie with a coffee. Service was friendly, the pie could have been more peppered but the big chunks of tender beef were pretty good and the pie was a deep dish style not the shallow useless variety sold by some. It was so good we went back for lunch.

We went here 11:30 in the morning for a coffee and decided on a pre made sandwich and salad roll. Both were fresh and delicious. Coffee took ten minutes so that soured it a bit for us. A lot of Businesses in the area don't open in afternoon? for Coffee after 3, so this place is flat out. If you are not in a hurry pop in.

The salad rolls which we purchased were soggy and inedible. My husband likes Chocolate Profiteroles. He saw what he thought were Profiteroles in the display cabinet and purchased 2. When I saw them i suspected they weren't the real deal. The pastry did not have the texture of taste of proper Profiteroles, they were inedible. Unfortunately this bakery had a captive audience so we doing a good trade serving horrible food

I had a wonderful Australia day in Warburton and regret agreeing to my husband's suggestion that we drive to Marysville. We visited the Marysville Country Bakery on arrival, and I was eager to leave the town after this. I understand that people are worn down in our current situation, however, the staff presented as unfriendly, made little to no eye contact (obviously no smiles or facial expressions due to mask wearing), just unwelcome in the eyes. The Ă©clair I was given was tasteless, the pastry was hard and difficult to cut with a knife. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and the stench in the room made me want to gag. I left not accomplishing my intended task of handwashing. All in all, a terrible experience. Thankfully we also visited the Beechworth Bakery in Healesville , which is really where we should have gone to instead of Marysville, and picked up some take away over there. On the plus side, our coffees were nice at Marysville, but it's not somewhere I would ever return to.

When I ordered at the counter I was met with a blank stare and no words so I started my order with the lady looking grumping from ordering a sausage roll. The server with blonde/grey hair with a pink mask visibly rolled her eyes at me and my sister when we asked for another sausage roll since before that she left too quick for her to order, when my parents ordered she was plainly rude and rushed everything. I understand she may have been stressed but from other reviews this isn’t the only time, a simple nice gesture does not hurt so I don’t recommend this place whatsoever, especially when you can get better sausage rolls and pies from 7/11. The actual cleanliness of the place was atrocious and needs some serious reevaluation as does the workers attitudes.

I loved this place! It is generously sized for a country bakery and has a very large menu. It was very busy today at lunchtime with people everywhere and yet they were still able to serve me promptly and offer me a table inside (lots of tables were available outside as well, both in the sun and the shade). I opted for a slice of home made lasagne and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were efficient and friendly and good COVID protocols were in place. No wonder it was so busy! Highly recommended.

This spacious bakery in the middle of the Marysville strip of shops offers a range of ready sandwiches, rolls, baked goods, bread, hot drinks and chilled beverages/ ice cream. Indoor seating has been replaced by verandah and outdoor seating to adhere to Covid restrictions. Restrooms service a variety of customers -this venue is popular with cyclists, families, campers and tour groups. We had great chai lattes here -not too sweet!!

After a big day (hiking on steavenson falls) we stopped for a coffee and they had a range of food to go along with their great coffee. Good and quick service. They even served us at 5:30 while they close at 5. Can’t wait to visit you again:)

Stopped for breakfast on way home from holiday. Ordered 2 Vegetarian breakfasts and added bacon. Asked for soft eggs on one - hard on another. Both came out hard and dry. The bacon was like dried up leather. The tomato had a weird taste, the spinach dripping in water, a couple of dried up mushrooms.... Hollandaise sauce was on severe rations. The bottled orange juice -good - asked for a glass and that made it better. Didn’t risk coffee there,

Went to the bakery on recommendations from friends from Melbourne for amazing pies, arrived at 11.55am and they had 1 pastie and the odd flavour pie or flavours no one really eats like beef and cheese. No steak, no sausage rolls none of the go to aussie flavours. Strange to have so many people coming in and out and having no supply of hot pies etc at lunchtime. Poor show and very lazy business who don't care about passing trade. Never Again.

Thought Marysville would have a decent bakery given it’s a tourist town and a mid way stop between Melbourne and Bright. Wrong!!!! First impression, the inside has seen better days! Floor was dirty, surfaces were dirty, cabinets had barely any cakes, staff looked shabby (obviously no pride in their job), desperately in need of a clean and a refurb. Ordered a pot of tea and a fruit oat slice and sadly I got what I expected. The milk in the metal jug had black floaty bits, tea bag tea and chunky cup and saucer plonked on a dirty tray. Oat slice was nothing to write home about, needed more fruit and a longer bake, it was just an uninspiring sugar hit. Won’t be back, should have stopped at the Beechworth Bakery in Healesville.

Had both breakfast and lunch because the food was just so good at very reasonable prices. The fish & chips, schnitzel roll and avo roll were all delicious, plus couldn't go wrong with the dim sims, jam doughnuts and croissants. The coffee was surprisingly good and even had the options of almond milk! The outdoor seating area was charming and clean. Definitely visit this bakery in Marysville, located in the middle of the town Centre.

3 of us arrived at the bakery on the 1st weekend of school holidays in the midst of the COVID19 crisis. It was busy, people everywhere. So good to see after 2 months if being closed. I ordered a plain old pie & a small Florentine. My friends a farmer's pie & a sweet potato frittata. Despite the craziness the service was prompt & effective. I can say, without exception my pie was the BEST I have eaten in my 65 years. Great pastry, not thick & doughy but thin & well cooked & the pie was brimming with delicious filling. I will be back.
