Our go to Thai restaurant, best pork belly we have EVER had, best chicken Pad Thai and their curry dishes 🤤 let’s just say everything we have had there is soooo yummy. The staff are always very friendly and go above and beyond to ensure we are happy either with dine in or take away. As locals we are very lucky to have this little gem in our town 💜

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this Thai restaurant. The fried dumplings, prawn stir fry and Pad Keemao were very good. We served were generous and the flavour didn’t disappoint. A family run business which deserves your support.

Great meal and with BYO option makes it a cheap night out. Other than that the food was great and the staff friendly and helpful. The new owners are great and you don't feel rushed as you did with the previous owners.

We ordered a large takeaway order and the food was very average. Very bland flavours, very ordinary special fried rice and all at a fairly steep price. Maybe this place might be better to eat in but the takeaway we not good.

If you value your dignity, its best you AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!! We made phone booking, arrived on time. Was told that he misunderstood and could not accommodate us. Said there no place when we could blatantly see 2 tables in front of us,,,,, wide open, clean and used !!!!! Also spoke at the top of his voice and was downright rude. If I were you reading this, I would definitely avoid. My friends visited this restaurant a couple of year ago and had a similar rude response

If you are going to complain, at least tell everything that happened, tell everything honestly like a person with dignity, if you have any like you you said, not just saying the bits that make you look like a victim.
When you called to make a booking, you wanted to book at 7.45pm and our staff told you 7.00pm would be the latest we would book anyone in because we were short of staff and couldn't handle late bookings. You then said "that's okay then" and he said "ok then" and you hung up. No name. No phone number. No confirmation from him that the booking had been made for how many people and at what time. You just hung up and that was it.
Any conversation about booking without confirmation from both sides that it is acceptable is null and void.
So, No, you did NOT have a booking.
As for you seeing empty tables, yes there were tables without guests, but it doesn't mean they were available. When you came you saw with your own eyes that a lot of people were standing around the counter area waiting to make takeaway orders or waiting for their orders. Every single one of them had wanted a table for their group but were also told that we were full and not taking any more walk-ins. They would have been very angry if we, all of a sudden, made those tables available to you just because you thought you had made a booking.
We did not take you and others in not because we did not want to, but because we could not. We only had a certain capacity that we could handle. Once that capacity was reached, we had to stop taking in more customers. At the time you arrived, we had so many takeaway orders. Even if we had taken you in, it would be at least 40 minutes before we could even take your order. We're sure you wouldn't be happy about it either and you would come and complain about it too.
What business doesn't want money? We don't open a restaurant just to refuse customers for fun and be thrilled to bed at the end of the night. Don't be silly. Of course, we want money, but if we can't handle it, we can't.
As for saying our staff is rude to you. No, he simply firmly stated the fact that you were trying to deny. He was busy and wanted to finish the conversation quickly, but you insisted on trying to say you made a booking. He told you that he misunderstood you because you'd said "that's okay then" which implied you did not want it. You did not say "7pm is fine" or any version of it. No, you simply said "that's okay then" and when he said "ok then" you hung up. Again, no confirmation. He didn't even get your name. What made you think your booking was complete without even giving your name?
You think he was rude. He thinks he was being firm because you implied that he was at fault for not booking you in.
Judging by what happened, it's best for both of us to stay away from each other. There are plenty of other nice restaurants in town you can go to and leave the space at our restaurant for the many of our customers who we had to refuse their bookings because we were full!

We are locals and love your pork belly and Thai meals regularly via phone booking and prompt take away pickup. We appreciate you have stuck through the hard times of lock downs and have been our saving grace of sanity! Thanks for being such a great family orientated restaurant! Perfect on a winters night!

We dined here with friends who live locally. ( we are from Melbourne).
We had 8 diners, so had a table at the back, which made it easy to chat.
It was very busy, not only with diners, but Take Away as well. We took our own wine and beer, as they don’t have alcohol.
All the dishes we ordered we really tasty, and well presented.
Average price per head for our group was about $35. Very good.

We had heard good things about this place. Overall we were disappointed. Everything we had was fine but not wonderful. Additionally the servings were small. Our prawn main course had only six small prawns.
Service was friendly and prices appeared to be reasonable and would have been if the servings had been normal restaurant size.
We gave each dish we had a 6 out of 10

For a country Thai restaurant this place is good. A lovely setting off the Main Street of Mansfield. Meals are tasty and fairly authentic, however a little more expensive then your average Thai restaurant. We have visited here a lot and it mostly hits the mark with taste and service.
