The Witches Brew in Mansfield is a great place to go for Breakfast or lunch. The food is delicious, the staff are lovely and the service is fantastic! Do yourself a favor and eat here or just go for coffee. You wont be disappointed!
Went in for some breakfast with a group of 4 today. Despite being very under staffed and under the pump the ladies were lovely and our drinks were out within minutes, food shortly after. Special commendation to the silver haired lady on the coffee machine...taking orders, making AND running drinks with a smile! ✨More
If you love your coffee don’t go here. Disappointed with both of our coffees. Quite weak and no real flavour. The service was also very slow and there was only a few other customers in the whole restaurant. We didn’t order food so can’t comment...on that.More
Any cafe serving Fairtrade organic certified coffee gets full points from me!!Hearty breakfast servings too! Really liked the red booth seating inside which gives it a ‘Happy Days’ look. Pet friendly too as they have a large verandah area. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Mansfield.
Very friendly and quick service. Our meal was delicious some of the best breakfast we have had for sometime. Would definitely recommend and be going back if we are in the area again.
What a treat to come across this cafe on our way back to Melbourne. They were getting smashed as they were short staffed and were super busy, but still managed to provide above and beyond service as well as amazing food. Loved that even the...simplest foods was cooked with love! Seriously a must try if you are ever in Mansfield. My husband and I loved the big breakfasts and the fresh apple juice as well as the baked goods (carrot cake and hedgehog). Thank you.More
Very dissappointed. Arrived about 1:30pm to have a late lunch, only to be told, they were not serving lunch as the kitchen was closed and only coffee snd cake was available. I mentioned that their website and Tripadvisor showed they were open till 4pm and...they are open all day. We were told they always close at 3pm. I did mention their website says till 4pm. In the lady's defence she did ask the kitchen if they would provide some lunch but came back saying that lunch is closed. We were looking forward to eating here as we ate here 8 years ago and had enjoyed it at that time. I think it would be good for The Witch's Brew to update their information on their website and advise the short lunch period for future visitors to their website.More
Had the unfortunate experience of taking our daughter to the Witches Brew for breakfast on her 30th birthday. Because there was a group of 10 including 5 young children we had to sit outside, on a could wet spring morning, There were patio heaters but...when we asked for them to be put on we were told they dont work. We 0ordered coffee and drinks first including a muffin for the 2 youngest children. After checking the menu we then ordered some meals . The drinks started to come out haphazardly, Then dome food started to come out before all the drinks which had been ordered first, The children's drinks and muffin which was ordered first came out very last after every thin else had been served. The food orders were missing food that was ordered and toast that came out was MOULDY. When we pointed this out hey were very apologetic and offered to replace it, They did not offer a refund for mouldy food that they served. All in all it was a very disappointing experience . Definitely will not go there again. There are so many places to eat in Mansfield that are so much betterMore
Amazing value for money | Good serving to be energised for the day, especially if you’re heading to the snow | Staff we’re lovely
Have been wanting to go to the cafe, since it first opened! The food was delicious: fresh, tasty and served in an appealing manner. The service was a bit slow (maybe there was a staff shortage that day?), but the staff were friendly and obliging....However, it's definitely worth a visit. Yum!More
Table not sanitised between customers Wait staff wearing Masks on chin Food was good Could have been warmer
We stopped here for our lunch and I had the best Zucchini soup ever in my life! I’ve enclosed some photos to show what we’ve ordered. They taste as good as they look. Priceline the usual touristy price range.
My husband and I came here on the long weekend and were surprisingly able to walk in without a booking. We came for breakfast. The menu wasn't large but had a few options for breakfast. We both had eggs benedict with hash browns and spinach...for my husband. The sides menu was crazy expensive in my opinion ($4 for spinach). The food was very tasty and coffee was good. The cafe was clean and the staff were friendly. The downsides were the spoons for our coffees had green food stuck on them and it was expensive for breakfast. Overall it wasn't terrible but not amazing either.More
We dropped by on a very busy day and were very happy that service was prompt and friendly. Our lunch of home made sausage roll, chips and salad was extremely generous and the milkshake with our meal was full of flavour and deliciously cold. My...only issue was that the meal was quite expensive for lunch, adding up to more than $50!!More
