food was nice but service chaotic - place is famous for it. Not recommended for families with kids who need food quickly.

First appearances are deceiving. Sit outside on the veranda and the atmosphere is great. The service may be a little slow but that just gives you more time with friends. When the food arrives it does not disappoint. Salt and pepper squid YUM. Satay chicken YUM. Mongolian Lamb YUM. Dumplings YUM.

This place was recommended to us, but I don't know why. No one said hello or tried to take our order. We had to wait for ages to get poor quality ingredients, over cooked and way too salty. Try somewhere else.

We visit Lucy's at least once every February/March while holidaying in Mallacoota, The place is always busy so it is wise to book. The food is delicious and authentic great size meals and the dumplings are amazing.

This is a very busy little resturant/cafe that has really good food. You can either sit inside, on the verandah or outside in a sort of walk through with your dog and talk to everyone passing through. Great fun and great food.

We watched the episode of 'Backroads' on ABC, which is how we found out about this restaurant and reserved a table. We arrived at 6 and the place was pretty full within the hour. Definitely book to avoid disappointment as it was only a Tuesday when we were there. It's a different type of dining experience which I'd rather not... More

Dumpling and spring rolls were delicious. Also enjoyed short soup it was a very genourous size. Followed by pork fried rice just lovely. Very friendly service and was luck to meet the mother of Lucy 85 year old spring roll maker a delightful afternoon. Do yourself a favour. Also notice several booking been taken so looks good.

Lucys was " humming " when we dined there recently. Drinks and meal order are taken at cash register. The lass delivering meals and clearing tables, was absolutely flat out, but appeared to keep up well. Our meals were outstanding, and we would dine there again and again if possible. Well Done!!!

We stopped off at Lucy's in the morning for a coffee - it wasn't great! However we were staying at the Karbeethong Lodge that evening, and the owner Russell recommended Lucy's for dinner. Gosh - what a difference from our coffee experience. All of the food was freshly prepared, with a lot of the vegetables coming from the Lucy's own... More

Great food. Wait times can be excessive. We waited well over an hour (with kids!) for our meal. The crispy plum duck took 2 hours but was worth it (just as well we had other food first)
