Came as a group of 5, 3 x adults and 2 x kids (1 and 4yo). Menu has a great variety, we chose the sharing board and the other adult chose eggs, bacon + added sides. The sharing board was huge and easily fed the...2 adults and the 2 children. Included the usual savoury breakfast items of eggs, bacon, chorizo, avo etc plus 2 interesting zucchini and corn fritter things which seemed to have a middle easern spiced flavour to them - they were flavoursome and delicious! Then there was also a small taste of the sweet apple pie French toast (which was excellent!). Also available in a cabinet is an assortment of pastries, breakfasts to go - granola, fruit, yoghurt + others; cakes and slices. Had breakfast yesterday at this quaint little Cafe. Ten out of ten for, coffee, service, menu. Twelve out of ten for portions. If you like bacon? This is your place. Very happy.

We stopped in here for breakfast on our way to the Yarra Valley after a very early flight from Brisbane. It is quite a large venue and was quite busy when we arrived. We were seated in a quiet area towards the back. We ordered...coffee as soon as we arrived. The coffee came out fairly quickly and was really good. We ordered breakfast, which was a little slow coming out, but super enjoyable. All up it was a good experience and a great way to kick off our holiday in the Yarra Valley. Went for an impromptu breakfast, it was lucky that we got there right on opening because within 15 minutes it was packed!! We had the autumn avo smash and the build you own breakfast, my son had the kids toastie and everything was amazing. Coffees...where beautiful as well. The staff were lovely and very attentive. My partner and I had a lovely lunch here, after being unable to find somewhere nice to go in the Lilydale area. The service was professional and friendly and eager to help! Where do you start, the staff are great, not pushy, know what they are doing, the coffee was excellent. We ordered a breakfast platter, fantastic, perfect poached eggs, fritters where delicious, the whole lot was great! Too much to describe, massive selection. Our friend ordered...a vegan breakfast, looked great, she absolutely loved it, gluten free as well. The whole experience was excellent, would definitely recommend it. We will be back. I found Hutch & Co at Lilydale, Melbourne through TripAdvisor and what a find! I chose Summer Avo Smash; what a fantastic mix of flavours and textures. Heaps of Avo with lemon juice, radish, broccolini, spinach leaves etc. What a delicious blend, served by friendly...& helpful wait staff. Service was fantastic, staff were working under adverse conditions as it was a very hot day. Food was beautifully presented and was delicious. Coffee was good too.

Headed here for coffee prior to work. Great industrial vibe. They use their own beans, the coffee was satisfactory.
