We were recommended tothe RSL by locals. It didn't disappoint. Food was prepared well, was fresh and looked good on the plate. Salads were very fresh and not overly dressed. I decided on the vege stack as an entree. (Next time I will have it...as the main as it was delicious) My calamari main was cooked just right and was an amount to satisfy any hunger. We visited twice as soon as Covid19 restrictions eased. Staff were exemplary, seniors meals well priced, well presented and enjoyable. We noticed that vegetables seemed fresh, not frozen.

If its a club environment with good bars and dining then the RSL at Kyneton is for you. We had good meals at a reasonable price in a clean vibrant environment. popular with the locals and some interesting historic displays.

One of the best RSL meals in Victoria. Really good personal service. Very kid friendly and a wide kids menu. Staff will bend over backwards for you

No trouble at all with this place good meals and good people great environment and the gaming side is not too overwhelming

Better than a pub, parma is possibly best I've tried in town, went on parma night though so that might be why! such a selection. Hubby had the scotch fillet, cooked to rare perfection and i mean rare as no one seems to be able...to cook it any good these days. Will go back for sure.More

We have been coming to the RSL for years now and have loved it, there was some hit and miss moments years ago but in the last 3 or 4 years the kitchen has been consistently delicious and the service warm and friendly. Its our...go to Kyneton as we always know its going to be good. Love the pub favourites on the menu (parma burger etc) but its the specials that catch my eye, I always love to order something new when i go out and they definitely cater for that, if not cant go past their pasta of the day whatever it may be. Its good to see a community minded establishment that just offers good old fashioned service and meals. Couldn't speak higher of it!More

We were passing through Kyneton and decided to stop at the Kyneton RSL. What a shocker this turned out. We placed an order being Chicken Parma and the roast of the day (Beef), we some 50 minutes and got fed up waiting,we approached bar staff...to find out what happened to our order. Back came a fellow holding two plates our meals. The parma had burnt cheese and had appeared to be standing there for sometime they had probably forget it was there,it was only warm,had burnt chips and i was told it was horrible. My meal the beef had burnt roast potatoes, 3 very small slices of beef and was only warm at best. This was the WORST meal i have seen in 10 years. We will NEVER GO NEAR THIS PLACE AGAIN. ONLY GAVE IT ONE POINT BECAUSE I HAD TO. This is a disgrace for the respected rsl, what a pity.More

We had a family lunch here. We ordered meals ranging from the chicken parma to arancini balls, which were at a typical pub/bistro standard. Nothing above the average here.

Have been returning to the RSL on a number of occassions, the food is great, the service is a little bit slow, but the food is defently worth the wait. They have a great range of food, including being able to adjust there menu to...make it gluten free. Relaxing family meal. You will defently need to book otherwise you may not get in. Will return here.More

During our stay we tried The Kyneton RSL for a Sunday lunch and were not disappointed.We were welcomed by friendly staff and enjoyed delicious meals at a fair price.
