These guys are trialling an Indian menu, and being a big fan, we ordered a broad selection of curries and entrees to share with friends. We were not disappointed. Messaged them to ask their opening times....Told me they were open every day at 5.00. Turned up on a Monday.... closed.... sign on wall said every day at 5 except Sunday!!! Since when did Monday become Sunday?? Avoid they don’t know what day or time...it is!!More

Arrived for drinks and dinner. The owner behind the bar came across as not wanting to be there. Very unengaging, couldn't crack a smile. Poor selection of drinks for a pub. Meals were unremarkable. The new outside area was nice but the inside was dreary....Saw the place was for sale - hope it's taken up by someone with passion and drive, because it's a nice town and deserves better.More

Great food, very fresh. Great service and reasonable prices. I had chicken schnitzel and it was so tender and tasty. Husband had the fish and chips and the serve was huge. Would definitely recommend eating there.

Do not recommend this place as the owner was so rude & short with the customers. Spent alot of money there & were as nice as pie but she spoke down to the customers. Will definitely not be back EVER.

Asked for a sparkling mineral water or soda water. No, don’t have either, we have run out..... then asked to wait a good ten minutes before we could place our order and advised there would be a wait on the meal when we did eventually...place the order. Not kidding. We waited nearly an hour. Massaman lamb curry was nice but see photos of pappadams. Just appalling and inedible. The garlic prawns were missing a garlic flavour or any flavour at all really. Yes plenty of them but just tasteless. Give it a miss. Renovations do not improve the food or the service. Most disappointing experience. The dining room was certainly not what we would call busy either.More

Overnight stop in Kaniva and decided to try the Club Hotel for a meal. It was Thursday night Schnitzel night - a choice of chicken, beef or turkey. We both chose chicken and it was to die for - very tender with a great choice...of gravies. There was a good salad bar as well, and all for only $15 each. Staff were friendly - we would definitely return. It appears from the information at our motel that the Club is not open on Sundays.More

Nothing like a big juicy steak from this place. The steak was so big, there was no space left for much else. The salad bar was fresh and excellent. Schnitzel night is Thursday, not to be missed too.

Reasonably friendly. Has a nice beer on tap. Quiet when we passed through as well, but it was open, which was a good thing.

Viisited just for an overnight stay nearby. Saw reviews for this and decided to eat there. Good menu and the food was delicious. My husband ordered the tournados of beef and two quite large piece of steak arrived. Asked for medium rare, and medium rare...steak arrived. I had the pasta with chicken, this was a generous service, probably a bit big for me, but I managed it. All came with salad bar and bread. Excellent value and a good place for dinner if you’re passing through.More

We had dinner here as a family. Husband and I had the steak special and the kids shared mac&cheese and chicken&chips. All meals came out pretty quickly. Wow the steaks were huge!! Very tasty and accompanied with the salad bar options. Recommended
