Recommended by a local and we were not disappointed. The service was quick and super friendly and the food was delicious. My pork and pistachio terrine was served with tasty pickled vegetables, a light leafy salad and thinly sliced toasted sourdough bread made on-site. A really interesting and different lunch menu puts it apart from many cafe lunch offerings.

Busy,bustling Cafe, has both inside and outside[courtyard at the back] seating.Tables well spaced and staff welcoming and efficient.
We shared a generous serving of vegetarian spring rolls[10],they were fresh crunchy and filled the spot. Good coffee.

I would 100% recommended this cafe, the food is absolutely delicious all the meals are home made, generous servings and quite a good selection to choice from. The service it beyond excellent, we was served by Heather she absolutely went beyond being friendly and most helpful. It’s definitely a place to stop and have a meal or even a coffee . We will definitely be back . A big thank you to heather for making our birthday so special placing a candle on our cake and encouraging people in the cafe to sing happy birthday to us . Heather your a gem and a absolute great employee for the cafe .

The meals were well presented.
What was a big surprise was that they charged us $20 corkage and they didn't even open the bottle or pour the wine for us. It was most disappointing. All they provided was 2 empty wine glasses.
We have been going there for years and we certainly won't be going back. They've lost us as customers.

We chose this cafe for the high quality potato pancakes as it is the only place that does them. Chef has decided he doesn't want to cook so many each day so has changed the menu & they've been deleted.
BLT was super oily and the Chicken Schnitzel Burger (minus bun) had some burnt cheese on the bottom along with odd flavoured sauce, chips were soggy and coleslaw had some weird dressing which was awful.
Sadly, another place we won't be re-visiting again.

On our way to the Healesville Sanctuary Zoo on Sunday I stop at this cafe with my family for lunch. Wow what a surprise, coffee great , good tasty meals and friendly service and ambience. Must visit - we will be back - highly recommend.

We went to this cafe for a late breakfast but the specials board looked so tempting that we both opted for brunch instead. We had the barramundi fillets with absolutely delicious home made chips and salad. This place has great fresh food and a wonderfull outside area with a gorgeous outlook. My only gripe ( and it is only mine..) is that the coffee I ordered was so strong it would have pulled a boat up that very pretty river we so admired from our table. A wonderful meal. Totally recommend.

Very friendly waitress allowed us to have a table out the back of this cafe. Ordered food ; smoked salmon, poached egg, halloumi & rosti plate and a cottage pie. All good prepared on sight washed down with Watts river IPA. Recommendations also given for walking along the Dam which we did afterwards

One of the nicest cafes around. 1 August 2021, tried the coffee (good) and scones with cream and jam (excellent - some of the best I have tasted. Pleasant, courteous service from Lilly. Good view from rear deck

Great little Cafe, with friendly and excellent service. Delicious food with good variety, healthy and fresh. Pencils and paper were provided for my little grand daughter. Seating outside in the fresh air. So pleased we choose this Cafe during our stay in Healesville

Had lunch out on the elevated rear deck twice this week. Relaxed and friendly ambience. Interesting menu with plenty of gluten free options. Salt and pepper calamari was excellent. Good selection of really enjoyable cakes. Great cappuccino. Popular but service was quick and friendly. Clean toilet facilities underneath. Reasonably priced and good value. Excellent cafe. Recommended.

Very friendly staff and some of the best (and largest) sushi I’ve ever seen. Situated on the tree lined Main Street of Healesville this is an easy stop while passing through town. Highly recommended. 👍👍

The food was good. The setting is lovely. The birds are BAD. Kookaburras steal food off your plate, out of your hand, out of your mouth. We sat on the balcony. The birds sit on the fence above the tables or on the balustrade. There are small signs, "Don't feed the birds" elsewhere in the cafe but none on the verandah. People think the birds are cute and feed them, but the birds want more and take it. Very Scary.

The food was so good. Small menu but something for everyone. This is 5 star food for a hotel price. Dessert and coffee were excellent also. Thoroughly recommend it to foodies.
