Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped in for a quick lunch hoping they’d have some vegan options.
Only one option- the vegan GF pastie. It was delicious! $5 each and worth every bite!
Thanks for having something for us vegans. Keep up the great work and feel free to add another item or two to the menu for us to enjoy in future. We will be back!

We are staying in Healesville and stopped by at the suggestion of another shop owner. We had two sandwiches (Greek and Salmon). They were both very good. We also had a steak pie. We had that for dinner. It was delicious! All of this was to go.

Good place to drop into to grab some lunch, food is fresh and yummy, eat in or takeaway, I especially enjoy the sandwiches.

Poor service. Slow service. Never again. Avoid like the plague. We intended to spend some decent coin in here but ended up spending it in Regional VIC.

Despite lots of people lining up, service was streamlined and very well organised. Only had coffee and croissant, but both good quality.

Came through thursday around 9.30am, ordered a piccalo coffee, i thought it felt heavy going to the car, (piccalo are 1/3 small cup) this was almost full and tasted like dishwashing liquid, no taste of coffee whatsoever,
If the person making the coffee doesnt know what "good" coffee should taste like, then how can they be expected to make one??
Never going back there for coffee again,
Even my wife last week brought a cupachino and could not drink it, said it was like drinking warm water with some milk.

Great bakery, along with every cake you can imagine, we had really fresh sandwiches, toasted focaccia and a steak and mushroom pie which my husband said was full of mushrooms . Definitely good for a stop on your journey for lunch.

Bought some wraps and toasted sandwiches here. Good service and great food. You could buy worse in Healesville. The pumpkin toasted sourdough was particularly good

Just like the old days, friendly girls and atmosphere. Java is about a six outta ten, but for a country place that's good.

It’s your basic small town bakery. Enough variety, maybe could do with more ready made sandwiches. The lady that served us was not disgruntled but didn’t give an overly friendly service either. Felt like we were wasting her time. The bread tasted lovely and fresh. And my family said the coffe was quite nice too. Not a bad place at all

Very nice establishment. Good service from a team of front counter staff. Vegetarian options mentioned in the title were the stand outs. Everything else was good. Place is small but seating is adequate (with booth style) and definitely worth coming back to - which we will.

Quick pit stop here when visiting Healesville, I noticed they’d won awards so thought I’d give it a shot and it didn’t disappoint! Go for the beef pepper pie or the sausage roll, you’ll be going back for more!
