Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stopped in for breakfast - great food and lovely service. We both had eggs on toast with added bacon for him and avocado for me. Lovely food and great coffee.

Over cooked eggs (scrambled looked like mince meat) and 3 poached eggs resembled hard boiled eggs. The coffees were bitter.. not sure if burnt maybe. Very expensive not just for the quality but in comparison to other cafes too ($35+ p/p for simple breakfast +...1 burnt coffee each)More

Was heading to Mocha & Lime but changed course because the menu here seemed more up our alley and it didn’t disappoint. Creamy Parmesan Mushrooms - amazing! Hubby had a Big Breakfast- also delish. Comfy atmosphere too. Would definitely go back.

I called in for brunch. Ordered corn fritters that tasted like they were deep fried in old oil. Fritters were burnt around the edges. Bacon was tough and undercooked. Salad was OK but avocado tasted strange. Coffee average. Stay away. Go to Mocha and Lime...instead.More

Warm and cozy with great service and a fantastic breakfast menu. Highly recommend the pancakes, baked eggs and the the eggs on toast (perfectly scrambled eggs). The hash browns were crispy and nicely golden. The banana and honey smoothie was another highlight. The best breakfast...we’ve had in a long time. Pet friendly with a large courtyard at the back. Very popular for brunch on Sunday.More

Hours on window indicated they closed at 3.30. It was just on 3. Only wanted a coffee and cake. We stood at the door by the “wait here to be seated sign” and watched as the two young girls working their negotiated with the boss...(out of sight crouched down behind the kitchen counter) about whether or not they were closed. Eventually walked out (as did the family waiting behind us) and went across the road to the lovely and friendly staff at the bakery. Close earlier if customers become an inconvenience at 3pm. If you are looking for delicious coffee and great service avoid this place and go to the bakery opposite!More

The other cafe's on the strip had a hour wait to get served so we ended up here as there was no queue! The food was pretty average and we got hit with a 15% surcharge, which was interesting! One in the party wasn't allowed...to change to his choice of eggs, which also was a little odd! We like our coffee extra hot and unfortunately the barista went way to far and burnt the milk.More

The food was nice but the waitress needs a little training. Touched the prongs of our forks as she laid the table. Reached across to clear and kept coming back whist some on table still eating expecting us to pass stuff across those still eating...instead of coming around. No splitting bills either which was annoying.More

We had breakky and lunch at Cherry Tree cafe. Food was excellent, coffee was the best we had in Healesville, and service was friendly and efficient. I accidentally left my phone at cafe, and they put it aside for me, and when I realised an...hour later, they returned it to me to my great relief. All cafes and restaurants in Healesville were great with their Covid tracking asking everyone to check in with contact details. Come along and support the awesome local businesses.More

This is a charming place with slightly retro decor. Very welcoming, the music is nice and soft enough to allow for a conversation. The food is wholesome, well prepared and very tasty. I had the crab linguini, plenty of crab meat, spicy without being overpowering....My friend had a beautiful lentil soup with sourdough bread baked in the premises. Prices are accessible and the service is fast and competent. Highly recommended.More
