Superb place to eat

Superb place to eat, lovely choice of food, and staff were particularly accommodating, especially as we were in a large group with lots of children. We asked, if we could pay as we ate, which puts no pressure on staff or our group when trying to sort out a split bill. It made our night more relaxing.

Gorgeous little hidden gem cafe in the Yarra Valley - with great food too

Today we were driving through Healesville looking for a nice cafe to visit - I like to go to places with a bit of a twist....found this hidden gem and LOVED IT! We got the dessert sampler tray which was AWESOME. It's great value at just $20 to get 4 desserts EACH, plus a glass of ice-cream each and some berries and cream. The pizzas looked good too. I highly recommend this place! Nice warm cozy seating inside with the heater and gorgeous outdoor garden setting outside. Very friendly service too.

The ambiance was great with a rustic feel. There were cushions and blankets on the chairs, which was welcoming. Friendly staff. The menu is interesting. Pizzas with a twist, regular pub selections and more. I had a sharing plate of crispy chicken and my husband had fish and chips. The chips, so often disappointing, are excellent. The chicken was crisp, and delicious. In hindsight, I would not order this to eat alone! It would be better to share, because, as it says, it is a share plate, with lots of chicken!

Excellent - Exceeded Expectations

We had dinner here on a Friday evening while staying in Healesville for the weekend. The pumpkin pizza was absolutely fabulous. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time - it was amazing! The mushroom burger had an unexpected twist - but was delicious. Staff were genuine, friendly and helpful. An absolute gem and I’d definitely make an effort to come and eat here again!

The pizzas at Bodhi Tree were excellent. Lovely crusty base, tasty toppings and was just what we wanted on a quiet Sunday night in the front of the fire. We had the Braised Lamb and Pepperoni and would happily have either again 😋

Great pizza!

Great pizzas (we tried 3 different ones) - lovely dough. Quick and friendly service and awesome rustic decor with little beer garden in the back. The owners have been really creative with the space. Will definitely return if/when in the area again!

Outstanding staff, great service, warm and cosy on what was a cold and rainy night, and great food. What more could you ask for! We had the lamb as well as the prawn pizzas and sweets. Very tasty.

After spending the day grazing at wineries and eating cheese and ice cream in the Yarra Valley we came back to town for some take away. After walking out of another Italian cafe in town we were glad that we found Bodhi Tree. We ended up ordering pasta and were given two choices for take away. I think our order was mixed up but never the less when we got back to our BnB found it to be tasty and well cooked by the rather youngish chef, in a very clean looking kitchen. The restaurant itself looked quaint but after such a long day good takeaway food was all that was required. The pizzas had also been recommended by our hosts but needing something we could reheat if needed the pasta hit the spot back at our accommodation.

This is an enchanting cafe/restaurant on the main road through Healesville... I had been out walking most of the day and had missed an opportunity for lunch. Very late in the afternoon I stopped here for something to eat and a cool drink. I ordered a bowl of their house chips and grabbed a can of coke. Coke!?!?! Really? That's the best I could do? I would have given anything to try their coffee to see if it was as luscious as the surrounds...but I needed something cool. :( The house chips were exceptional ... worthy of a stop all of their own. I did look through the menu and this is definitely a place to put on your list. It's a little awkward to stop at because of it's location and the limited parking. Particularly being near traffic lights. BUT try to do this anyway!! :) Location is easy to find. Cafe/restaurant oozes charm ... seating is available outside (footpath), inside, outside (courtyard). Value is very reasonable. Service was exceptional.

Food,service and atmosphere all great

We had pizza and totally enjoyed, we will be back to taste more on the menu. There is a bar, which is I the restaurant but still is separate which takes the pressure off the waiting staff.
