Their coffee is so fragrant and aroma smell like nothing I tasted in Singapore. The owner is very friendly... we drove from the airport to Healeville, where The Mare Coffee Co is located. But when we reached there, there was a sign "Closed" at the door.
Fortunately, one customer came out and hold the door for us, and get to order the last 2 cups before closed.
I would not hesitate to recommend who are going to Melbourne, especially Yarra Valley area, to pop by and have a taste...
If I am not wrong, they open from 5.30am to 12 noon from Monday to Friday only.

We visited Healesville from Sunday to Wednesday and as a result found that various businesses, including Mare, close for one or two days during the week. As a result it was Wednesday before we could try their coffee, but when we did we were delighted with both the coffee and the service. We ordered twice and they remembered us and our choice of coffee from the first visit and were happy to bring our coffee to us when they were made not withstanding we could only find seating two shop fronts away.

In Healesville for 3 days on business, this place was our go to for coffee. Probably as good a coffee as I’ve ever had, staff amazing, a great toastie and open early. What could be better. Should be an example for all small coffee shops out there.

My wife and I were staying in Healesville with friends and had been told about the 'Mare Coffee Co' shop. Turned out to be the ideal ..friendly and professional as well as coffee knowledgeable too.We were visiting from Ohio and my wife and I thought this was the best coffee experience while in Australia.Highly recommend trying the 'Mare CoffeeCo' if you are in Healesville and enjoy great coffee.

Great coffee and conversation with barista. Good experience. Lots of locals. Went in one day and for each of the following 5 days they knew our order and got the coffee spot on!
