Not passionate about ice cream usually but these are gorgeous. The kids dragged us there and I had a child’s chocolate fudge brownie, while my 11-year old had my adult serve! OMG it was so nice. Went back in the evening for a rum ‘n’...raisin! The place was busy but we got served quickly and the frontage is spacious with seating. Would def go again 😜More

The first thing we noticed when we walked down the Main Street of Halls Gap was this huge queue lined up waiting for ice cream. Saw the TripAdvisor reviews before going and everyone loves ice cream so we joined the queue and listened to everyone...talked excitedly about what they were getting. It didn’t disappoint. The “hand made cone” was as good as advertised and the choices of ice cream flavours we chose were delicious. Couldn’t fault ….but the poor cousin 110 steps away was even better. Solution? Try both and make your own decision rather than just joining the queue that made Coolas stand out as the only choice.More

Delicious icecream, stunning spot! The staff are great at prompt service so even when busy the wait is reasonable. Love that they have a cheaper kids option. The best icecream!

A must do in the Gap! Got three flavours in the famous waffle cone. Was quite the effort, but was well worth it :)

Stop over for a couple of ice cream when your are in Halls Gap. Wide range of flavours and they are so nice!

Was too cold in winter to enjoy but have been to the shop numerous times for the best ice creams. So good people are lined up down the footpath to get one.

We were leaving town early on a Sunday morning but didn't want to miss out on tasting this ice cream. We found that they were open at 9:30am. Very tasty especially the Irish Cream and Scorched Almonds.

Yummy ice cream. Kids enjoyed Cookie Dough and Stairway to Heaven Couldn't finish either, so Mum had to help out :) Chocolate chip overload. Indulgence galore. Fast service. Friendly smiles.

Tried handmade waffle cone and a few flavours of ice cream and I'm impressed. The ice cream was really nice, especially salted caramel flavour and irish bailey flavours. Other flavours I tried were rum and raisin, and white choc and strawberry. I found the latter...a bit too sweet and the rum and raisin had a little hard/too frozen bits that I didn't quite like. Two generous scoops on a handmade waffle cone costs $7.50 (a dollar or so cheaper on a normal waffle cone). The price is good considering the creamy icecream and the location (where they'd mark it up specially for tourists).More

A must try at Halls Gap, always a queue during school holidays. The chocolate obsession is so delicious and double scoops are so worth it!
