The beautiful Vintage Hall Café is a modern café in vintage surrounds. We offer you fresh food made in house, award winning gourmet coffee from Blynzz local coffee roasters, delicious Prana Chai, hot chocolate and teas, scones, cakes, slices and croissants. We provide all day breakfast and lots of lunch options. We cater for coeliac, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan customers. We had breakfast here when we visited Glenrowan- the food was lovely, freshly prepared and served with a friendly smile. There’s a wonderful antique and bric a brac shop in the same premises so easy to get lost in there for a while. Highly recommend

Visited on the Sunday of a long weekend and were greeted with country hospitality....our family including 2 dogs were very welcome and treated to a history lesson as well as some great food. We ordered steak sandwiches and BLTs and even with alterations to our order nothing was too much trouble.

Heading south to Melbourne lots of shops were closed, but the friendly kitchen was open and ready. Our Greek lamb and sweet chilli chicken wraps and local drinks were tasty and good value.
Also the option to have your photo taken with Ned Kelly and some interesting bric-a-brac.

Was nice to get to a destination and everything is spot on.
Our service was great by Laela whom also makes one of the best coffees in the area, and the owner who puts freshly baked goods cooked on the premise on your plate was also a delightful as her date scones.
Well worth the stop here while here in Glenrowan, we weren’t dissatisfied, and am sure you won’t be either.
Thank you again Laela for your great service and coffee.

Relaxing brunch, dog friendly.
Stopped for breakfast on the verandah while on our way to Bright. A good menu and inexpensive brunch. Very friendly staff who made our pets feel welcome and even bought out a welcomed large bowl of water for the dogs.
There is a very interesting gift shop onsite.

Let me first start with the service...there wasn't any
The food ...there wasn't any
However I did hear all about the local news as the staff were more interested in chatting to the locals about local news.
Not sure how long we were expected to wait to be acknowledged but for me 10 minutes of being blatantly ignored was enough.
According to what I heard the owners were wanting to sell, therefore I guess they are over customer service.
Never mind, the bakery down the road filled the gap!

My favourite cafe in Glenrowan and I often make the trip from Benalla specifically. Lovely to sit on the veranda and watch the world go by. The staff have always been friendly and efficient, and the food is fresh and good. The scones are great and the BLT wrap is my brunch pick. Occasionally they have a very nice curry on the board. Interesting to listen to history of Ned Kelly, provided on request. I hesitated to write this review because I would not like it to get too busy!

We visited on Sun 9-June-24.
We decided to go through Glenrowan, instead of passing it by on the bypass. Ned Kelly country!
The Vintage Hall Café really looked the part, so we stopped here for two full breakfasts and coffees.
We are pleased to see that it is well supported by the locals (the café was full).
Of course there is all the Ned Kelly atmosphere in Glenrowan, and this Café had a full shop attached.
Highly Recommended.

The best bacon and egg burgers, generous servings on turkish bread with delicious tomato relish. Reasonably quick, not fast but well worth the short wait. My burger was with no egg but received extra bacon. 10/10 from me 😁

Absolutely average food, indifferent "service" and excessive charges for gluten free options. Don't even think about complaining unless you're ready to receive a barrage of abuse. Verdict: go somewhere else.

It looked quite nice from the road so we stopped for a quick lunch...two toasted sandwiches and a bowl of chips. Not a complex order but after two attempts and a long wait, one of the sandwiches was still wrong. Hopefully a one-off as the other reviews look good.

Worth a visit, stop by this unique cafe. Mick Jagger did.
Step on stage where the Ned Kelly movie premiered.
Lots of unique and collectables. Plus nice coffee and food.

On our way to Melbourne we stopped for lunch and coffee at the vintage cafe. Coffee was enjoyable and at a perfect temperature. And the freshly made sandwiches were plentiful and enjoyable!
