We had the steak and the Harissa lamb special. Both were good meals. The service was friendly and efficient. Having read some of the reviews I thought it might be cold but it wasn't. It was noisy and with two people with hearing problems it was difficult for them.

We have been coming here for years and always loved this restaurant. Prices were always quite expensive but we didn't mind as the food is beautiful and always great service until now........ We walked away last Saturday night so disappointed. Service was terrible our waitress had the worst attitude she was very abrupt, we felt like she didn't want to... More

Underwhelming in most areas I'm afraid... Cold dining area downstairs on this night. Slow service for our table, the menus we had to fetch ourselves, entree arrived 90 mins after sitting down, mains at 2 hrs, another 30 mins later. Waitress tried her best but came back twice to check who ordered what. Food was not worth the wait I'm... More

I organised a surprise dinner for my boyfriend on Saturday night here, we booked for 7pm. The exterior of the restaurant is nothing fancy, but the inside is lovely and has a great ambiance. When we got there it was very busy and continued to get busy. Our drinks and food orders were taken quickly, but after that the service... More

We went there for our grandmas 93rd birthday. The blonde waitress that served us was cold and bossy. Her attitude continued through the whole night. The entre took 1 hour and half to arrive then the main took over 2 hours!! Not even a sorry or any type of acknowledgment that we were waiting for hours with an elderly who... More

Always meet my friends here and the food is good and not too pricey. I would recommend this place for couples, friends and get togethers. Get in quick for the parking though..

We visited on a Thursday lunch, having passed this place hundreds of time and never been enticed to visit due to its lack of "enticement" from the facade. However we ere pleased we did stop. Parking was easy, their greeting friendly and menu plentiful and reasonably priced My partner chose one of the specials, being the fish in soda batter...which... More

This is a gem of a restaurant tucked away in a cottage that has been renovated. In addition to the restaurant, there is a gorgeous outdoor area overlooking the Kananook Creek. Also very close to Frankston beach and within walking distance from Frankston railway station. This is a medium priced restaurant with very interesting menu. We enjoyed a magnificent cheese... More

I would thoroughly recommend the Boathouse. From a couple of wines outside enjoying the beautiful views to the excellent food. The service was very good, although there was a little delay in getting our food. The menu had lots of different choices which would cater for varying tastes, and being a vegetarian its great to have a choice. I really... More
