I was just there today for Mothers Day. We booked a high table for 4 in the main area with views out the front. We got table in the back section, down low no views and next to a noisy able of 20. I could...not hold a conversation with my family because I could not hear them. My daughters steak was rearest of rear. She ordered medium rear. She did try to eat it but it was chewy. Our chips were from a frozen packet and then cooked. They were cold in the middle and bland (no salt). My son ordered ribs and the fat in them made him rush to the toilets and throw up. I’m sure that any other day, it’s probably really good. But my Mother’s Day was not so good.More
Enjoyed a delightful meal to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Selecting the evening specials, Egyptian Chicken for him and Beef Cheeks for myself we enjoyed our meals immensely. Staff were friendly & attentive. Lovely sunset view,

We were looking for somewhere new for my partner's birthday and she picked Elevation at Emerald. We came away singing the praises of the chef for a truly terrific taste sensation. Elevation has the casual feel of a pub with great views across a valley...to the Dandenong Ranges, but it’s a bit more upmarket than a local pub. We started with the Sticky Pork Belly entree, which was to die-for, and a wonderful Smoked Salmon Tostaditas, which was fresh and spicy in a Mexican-style. We also ordered a side serve of Cobb bread, which we really think should be complimentary at restaurants, but everyone makes their own bread (which is very cheap - and they charge not very cheap rates for it). Our main courses were the Duck Confit and an Egyptian Spiced Chicken, both of which were excellent. We ended the night with a Smashed Pav and an Espresso Martini. With two glasses of house champagne the bill came to a reasonable $150. But we were so impressed we came back the following week. Something we don't usually do, The second visit had the fabulous views, the excellent attentive service and we tried a couple of different things. My partner had the Pork Belly (exquisite !) and I had the Prawn Taco, which just wasn't quite as good as the Smoked Salmon Tostaditas the week before. For mains we both went with the Salmon, but this was not the best choice. We were already filling up and the salmon was a bit overcooked - but, worse, the chips were undercooked (also known as inedible). On our first visit, we were one of the first tables seated. On our second the place was already busy. The main courses were disappointing. Dessert saved the day with brilliant Brandy Cigars and another Espresso Martini. All up $162 for a meal that just wasn't as good as the week before. Was it the rush or did they change chefs?More
We had 7 people go tonight. We all had a mix of entree, main and desert. Every meal was fantastic. The service was great and friendly. I don't often bother with reviews, but this time i am happy to recommend this place. - Thanks for...a great night !!More
It was beautiful weather for a weekday lunch. Great to take in the view through the large windows. Food selection was very extensive and everyone was happy with their choices. Large serves. Some interesting beers and wines on the list. Appreciated having the car park...at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful.More
We had our entree/tapas and as soon as we finished our plates were still on the table our mains came. We had to try and get some drinks. Also while some of us were still eating our mains they started to clear the table. The...staff were friendly but the head waiter was not as polite as he should have been. The coffee was good. It’s a shame the place used to be greatMore
Loved this place! Great food, friendly staff, beautiful views and good vibes all round. The calamari was SO delicious and also the best sticky date pudding 👌 Can’t wait to come back
We were an extended family of 15 with three prams and a mobility walker for the 91 year old birthday girl. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and management who went out of their way in assisting our party. From making payment recommendations...to finding room for all our “stuff” they were helpful and delightful. The food and service was great as well as is the location. Thanks to everyone who made it a special day fir the birthday girl.More
Dined for lunch with a car club. I had the lamb curry & it was tasty. All other diners enjoyed their meal also. Lovely views & it was great that a large group of us of 20+ could all pay seperately at the end. Service...friendly.More
My wife & I attended for dinner on a Thursday night. It was very busy but we were greeted & shown to a (reserved) table promptly. We have been before and have returned due to how much we enjoyed it before. Drinks ordered & delivered,...time to peruse the menu before ordering Arancini Balls, Egyptian Chicken & Calamari. 4 Arancini Balls arrived on a bed of Aioli, piping hot & delicious. The Egyptian Chicken came with small, jacketed potatous, carrots & broccolini, declared an absolute winner. My Calamari came on a bed of rocket salad, onions, shaved parmesan plus other 'bits' it was deliciouy7s on it's own. But, the Calamari was the feature, again tender, hot & delicious. This place has great atmosphere, great staff (particularly in the kitchen) & great food. you would be a fool not to go!More
We visited here for a weekday lunch and loved the experience. We were seated by the window for the beautiful view. There were lots of yummy things on the menu and we chose the Korean pork belly, salt and pepper squid and the bread with...dukkah and oil. The waiter (Lachie) was exceptional. I asked for some sugar to go with my iced coffee and he went above and beyond to bring me a syrup to sweeten my coffee. The food was cooked beautifully and we loved all our choices. A lovely experience over all. Will definitely go back.More
We stopped coming here a while ago as the menu had become a little tired. Went back recently and have so many new favourites. the salmon was delicious and had a beautifully cooked blue steak (not easy to get right) but the one thing I...keep coming back for is the calamari. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to just the right degree. I'm going mains size next time!More
Wasn't too bad, but not really my scene. Still, some okay beers available, and staff pretty friendly too.
