My phone is an Android & won't scan the COVID tracing app, I offered to provide my details manually - the old pen & paper method.........."Oh, we don't do that anymore", you will have to do it on your friends phone............what?????? Does that mean than...anyone who ventures into the cafe 'sans phone' can't eat there???? The menu didn't have a great selection. Tried the Spicy Chicken open souvlaki, very ordinary, the flat bread wasn't able to be cut, couldn't roll it, because it was too crispy around the edges & tough in the middle. The chicken was OK, with a sprinkling of tomato wedges, a couple of olives & fetta, on a bed of lettuce. The Iced Coffee I was looking forward to, was served in one of those stupid jar things, full of ice, which meant by the time it was last sips, it was weak water. The background "music" was way too loud to allow for comfortable conversation. The 'checkout person' was very indifferent, no customer skills whatsoever. So there's obviously no reason I would ever go back...........More

This place came highly recommended, so we stopped in for lunch on a Saturday, and it wasn’t great. The food was cold and not very tasty. I won’t be back. We ordered a chicken burger and veggie burger. The chips were cold and had to...get them redone. I didn’t have chips with mine, but would have been nice to get a small side salad.More

The chef went above and beyond to cater for my very restricted diet. He produced a yummy lunch for me at the drop of a hat. Very much appreciated. The coffee was excellent too.

What a wonderful coffee experience. We had seen the cafe reviewed so it was on our list but it was also recommended by several other local businesses which is good publicity for the local cafe. It was quite busy when we arrived just for a...late morning tea as some were already there for an early lunch. The order was taken quickly and questions answered in a friendly manner. The coffee was declared tops by the 2 coffee drinkers and the tea was leaf tea -also great. We all had a sweet something with the drinks and everyone was in agreement that the sweets we tasted were beautiful and fresh.Would like to have tried the lunch offerings as they looked very good arriving at other tables. Don't miss this if in the area.More

We have our morning coffee here most days , great service, consistency each time and great selection of newspapers to read. Today we decided to do lunch and chose the Salmon Bowl. So glad we did as the salmon had a lovely crispy skin with...tender juicy texture insider It was accompanied by a aromatic jasmin rice, pickled turnips and red capsicum with a baby spinach salad with beetroot purée. The presentation was great and the flavours blended beautifully, would recommend. Ron & MargaretMore

With time between appointments in Drysdale, Ground Zero is our go to. Popular with tradies and locals alike you know that they are always going to be busy but it’s worth a short wait. The omelette with tomato mushrooms spinach and Swiss cheese was tasty...and filling. Equally the French Toast came with grilled banana and was delicious, the coffee was perfect. We look forward to our next visit!More

I have enjoyed a few terrific breakfasts, lunches and coffees here but am really hooked on the toasties featuring the house made sourdough. Good atmosphere and friendly staff - enjoyed by many locals.

This is a nice comfortable large cafe with alcohol service. Menu is quite nice but very limited for gluten free goodies. I has a gluten free toasted sandwich which was ok but the bread was thick white stuff without much flavour. Others in the group...seemed happy enough with their options and prices were reasonable.More

What a great place, and the coffee is very good, wide range of food including ready wrapped sandwiches and wraps for those on the go, we just managed to get a seat!

I visited for breakfast, with a group of people attending a workshop nearby. We all enjoyed the food served, which was quick, tasty and very well presented.
