Not a great selection of restaurants in children, but this one was brilliant. It is has a nice ambiance but the fried pork belly and Asian herb salad was sensational, with such delicate flavours. The sticky date pudding for dessert was pretty good but the...real star was the salad.More

Stopped in here for lunch. Sign out the front said lunches to 2:30 pm. It was 2:15 and they refused to cook lunch for us. Well for such a small town with no body around they probably just lost $150 in food and wine and...the possability of us coming back. Now due to poor service we will not be back. Maybe they need to put 2 pm on the lunch times !More

Had a beautiful meal last night at the Ironbark Tavern. Lovely atmosphere along with friendly staff really made our night memorable. Our meals came out altogether and all were delicious, barely a scrap left on our plates except for the scrumptious lamb chop bones. Highly...recommendMore

My parmigiana topped with ham, cheese and pineapple with a side salad and chips was delicious and very satisfying. The service was excellent and friendly and the prices reasonable. A very comfortable colonial style ambience with a log fire and comfortable lounges intermingled with dining...tables. A great lunch venue while exploring this interesting gold rush era town.More

This is a really nice restaurant in a lovely little town. The service was smart and friendly, the ambience attractive, the prices reasonable and the food great. My wife said that her steak was one of the nicest she had ever eaten.

Dropped in with hubby for dinner on route to pick up our children from the grandparents place for school holidays. Large serve pub dinner, in and out in around an hour. Lucky for us some locals were having a jazz jam session. Great place, would...recommend.More

Mum and I stayed in Chiltern on a mini break and the ironbark was recommended by the CP owner. What a gem. Cosy and great value. If the Parma and Furphys schooner special is on go for it! Lamb cutlets were delicious. It was 39...degrees outside and baking, but the hundred plus year old double brick was cool and inviting. Highly recommended.More
