Delightful! Our girls had cookies and hot chocolates whilst we sipped a glass of wine. The owners (father/son team) were interesting, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about both the wines and Beechworth. Apparently there are plans to add a fully fledged restaurant to this space, if so we would definitely come back for a meal.

We found this little gem on our recent trip to Beechworth. The sommelier has a great knowledge of the local wines and his recomendations were spot on. The place has a lovely friendly feel about it really can't rate this place highly enough.

My husband and I quickly threw a getaway together between lockdowns and randomly chose Beechworth. We wanted to try wines from the region but without a designated driver. Cellar Door Wine store was exactly what we needed. We sat down at the bar and Tom talked to us and deciphered our tastes at our attempts at describing what we like and we couldn't have imagined a better afternoon. I think we sat here for three hours and had such a marvelous time. Thank you for your knowledge and time spent talking to us, Beechworth now holds a special place in our hearts.

This place is a gem for anyone looking for an introduction to the wines of the area. Centrally positioned in the town, its location is ideal for visitors. We did a wine tasting - and purchased some afterwards due to the quality of the local wines - but you can also stop for a coffee or cheese platter. Both Lachlan and Peter are warm and welcoming, and Lachlan's knowledge of the wines and winemakers is outstanding. A very special experience, which was refined by Lachlan as we tasted to have regard to our preferences in wine. A must for any visitors to the town.

After a few visits while working in the area, I've continued to come back ever since (and keep bringing friends along to introduce them). The wine is excellent, the service is friendly and I can't think of a better way to while away an afternoon in town. Do not skip this if you are in Beechworth.

Really enjoyed the experience at this wine store. Knowledge was fantastic and very helpful. Buy many local and imported wines. Enjoy wine by the glass.

Coffee was the best in town and the cakes were DELICIOUS! Homemade by the matriarch of this lovely family business. Easy to find on the main street.

The knowledge and expertise of the owners is excellent. Go there to drink a couple of very well priced glasses of high quality wine (or a coffee), then buy some on the way out.

This establishment is a must visit when you're in Beechworth. The owners, Peter Cecily and Lachlan are wonderful hosts!
Whether it be for coffee and a cake or biscuit or a cheese platter and matching wine your taste buds will enjoy every moment.
Their knowledge of wine is unbelievable and the range on offer is likewise,a real experience not to be missed.

Cellar Door has an inviting ambience, a lovely interesting range of Beechworth wines
and coffee and cake. Cecily, Peter and Lachlan are lovely hosts, welcoming and
knowledgable about Beechworth wines. Cake and cheeses to go with your wine
tastings or coffee. Open late Friday and Saturday for a glass of wine.

If you need to start your day with a coffee fix, this is the place! Cecily, Peter and Lachlan will ensure your coffee is made just the way you want it! The beautiful home made cake,slices and biscuits were a welcomed addition to the coffee. Whilst enjoying our coffee and snacks we noticed the selection of wine and cheese's, unbelievable, it's a must to visit this place when you're in Beechworth!
