Vino Bar is offering all local Beechworth GI wines and a growing range of Champagne. The bar has a french bistro feel with a warm but relaxed atmosphere. Vino bars sells a large selection of wines by the glass that changes regularly to give visitors the chance to enjoy the quality of Beechworth wines. There is also a small range of beer. The kitchen is always open with all day dining of delicious season share plates. The space is a true gem with Indoor and outdoor garden tables which is a breath of fresh air into the food and wine scene in Beechworth definitely worth a visit."

We were looking for a glass of wine and some simple fresh food and Vino Bar looked a good place to try. It was so much better than good! Firstly, the location and ambience are great - options to sit out the front, inside or where we sat, in the beautiful side garden/patio - and we were welcomed in by several staff. The service was excellent and we very soon had a glass of bubbles to start us off. The menu is simple but full of fresh delicious options - we had oysters, garlic prawns, caprese salad and ceviche all beautifully prepared and served. There’s also an excellent wine list but we stayed with wines by the glass as they were all very nice local Beechworth wines. We were there on a Friday evening and the place was humming and still that way when we left. This is the newest but also in our opinion best wine bar in town (although the others are also good). We will certainly be visiting Vino Bar when we next visit!

Brilliant little treasure in the heart of Beechworth, Vino Bar is a great place to stop by for an afternoon drink and snack, or a night of great wine, yummy food and awesome company. Owned and managed by Christina and Troy, this bar really helps Beechworth live up to its “destination royalty” status. Food is light but very tasty and highlights fresh seafood and lots of locally supplied meats, cheeses and organic fruit & veg. Wine list is awesome and also highlights local wineries who are in the top 1% of wine produced in the world (check out Hallidays to read more about this). Get in early though because it gets packed very quickly. Outside seating is also available. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic wine bar on Beechworth’s main Street. We enjoyed the delicious garlic chilli prawns and the pumpkin salad with mint, pepitos , rocket and feta. Nice selection of local wines by the glass.

My husband and I have been here for dinner twice. Both times we found the food, wine, service and atmosphere exceptional. We're planning another trip soon and we're going to book Vino Bar for two nights for dinner.
The food is tasty but not fussed around with. Our favourites were the lamb, meat balls and brie. I've never liked broad beans but the way they're cooked here, I couldn't get enough of them.
I think the key to really good cooking is the ability to take simple ingredients and make them taste exceptional.
I highly recommend this place.

We came for a light lunch and returned for dinner. A very good short wine list by the bottle and glass. A short but excellent food menu: pork terrine, great freshly shucked oysters etc; plump lamb chops, a wide variety of local cheeses.

If your thing is a wine bar that serves delicious tapas-style food then you must visit the Vino Bar in Beechworth. The wine list (by the glass or the bottle) was outstanding quality and the food was exceptional. The space is big enough to be comfortable but small enough to be cosy; even has a bar. The owners are friendly, attentive and very obliging. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Its a bar that serves a limited meal menu and it has a preference for everyone at a table to share. The problem was we were dining with people we had only met that weekend and we had no idea of food preferences or allergies, so the six of us opted for three pairs of meals - some shared and others not. My partner and I opted to share our meals and we started with a shared baked brie with honey and toasted walnuts which was delicious. then shared meat balls with a sugo sauce and three lamb cutlets between two. My partner opted for dessert and had the daily special of a fresh date filled with peanut butter and coated in chocolate - apparently superb! Accompanied by glass of a local Pinot Noir the meal was nice without being memorable.

A friend and I visiting Beechworth were impressed with the local wine list at Bar Vino and thought drinks and dinner if possible would be great. The front of house promptly frowned when we said we didn't have a booking, it was early, 6pm. No tables offered. We saw bench seats at bar and asked if we could utilise those. Grudgingly we got an okay. Eventually we got 2 glasses of wine, no water, and a first plate to share. New comers were greeted with far more communication and enthusiasm and were offered tables as long as they were finished by reserved time. Still no warmth from the lady front of house. After a lack of attention we determined we weren't wanted, our dollars weren't wanted and we left. Great place but a smile would go a long way.

We had dinner here last night and I have to say what an incredible find. We were fortunate that it was a warm night so we sat outside. We were seated down the back which was cosy. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing. This is a tappas styled menu but don't be put off by that. We had the pumpkin salad, the pork tacos, the meatballs and lamb cutlets. Each dish was very tasty. If you find yourself in Beechworth do yourself a favour and book here. The staff are great

The ambience in the new Vino Bar is pumping, lovely local wines and a great choice of nibbles to go with them. Friendly knowledge staff offering local knowledge on the wines and how they match with food. Seating outside in their garden or on the street also, if it is fine weather.

We were in Beechworth on the weekend and found Vino Bar for lunch. I was so impressed with this little gem in Beechworth. We ate in the courtyard where there were options for sun and shade surrounded by a lovely garden. The food was fantastic and I loved the baked Brie, lamb cutlets and sliders. My wine was so nice I purchased a bottle to take home .. highly recommended!

Vino Bar did it very well with an interesting range of local wines at reasonable prices and an interestimng and tasty food offerimg. The atmosphere was good and trhe servioce as expected. Recommended.
