This was my second visit here for brunch and it was just as good as my first visit. Their broken spiced eggs is probably the best brunch dish I’ve ever had. Their coffee is also excellent. Definitely coming back here.More

Hi Paul, thanks a million for your second review. You gave us 5 stars back in October and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed our service yet again. Broken eggs seem to be an extremely popular dish, so for the moment, we will...More
Stopped here for brunch and very impressed with the food and ambience. I had eggs on sourdough with greens and it was delicious with the green veg (zucchini, beans and silver beet?) so fresh that they could have been picked from a veggie patch that...morning. Generous serve too!More
Thank you for your time to write such a nice review. Yes you are right, some of our produce comes from gardens of our friends. As I'm writing this reply, we have some beautiful squashes from Dom's and Jacqui's garden. Thanks guys ;) Bread is...More
We've been to Amandhi's numerous times for breakfast, brunch and lunch and every time hugely enjoyed it. The food is super tasty and freshly prepared. The small menu features dishes prepared with seasonal produce, and every one of them is a flavour bomb. There are...no sugary drinks insight, and they make their own chai and kombucha and many other house-made or grown ingredients and condiments. Amandhi and her staff are always so warm and welcoming, and we also love that they run a 'pay forward' scheme where you can choose to (anonymously) pay for a drink or meal for someone to enjoy who might otherwise not be able to.More
What an awesome review. Thank you. The best part, however, is the title. You absolutely nailed the fact that Amandhi's is a dealership of smiles and hugs. The food is just a front for our secret operation... Glad you are enjoying our service and will...More
I love, love, love Amandhi's. The food is delicious and the Chai is the best I've ever had (and I've had a few in my day!!) It's a tiny cafe with seating outside (Covid safe) in a quieter side of the main street. There is...a sense of joy and welcome that oozes from Amandhi's - thanks to Amandhi's warm heart and smile, and Elvie (her off sider) who serves with kindness and warmth. A true bonus for Beechworth.More
So glad you enjoyed! Always good to hear compliments about our Chai. There is lots of time and effort going into it and such feedback is a great verification that we are doing something right.
Wow what a find! Sampled their all day brunch menu on a Saturday. The broken eggs with chilli was the best eggs based meal I’ve ever had, one that had a great kick of chilli. Their sambal eggs were also great. A nearby table’s eggs...with beetroot and feta also looked sensational. It’s not just the food, the coffee was also sensational. Definitely coming back here again, would highly recommend this place to anyone.More
We are so glad you enjoyed. Amandhi does love to cook (and eat) eggs and is equally happy to share this with others. We will be looking forward to see you next time, even though the menu will probably be changed then. Hopefully recreating your...More
With the Corona Virus causing havoc in the hospitality sector,we came across an absolute GEM back in march 2020,that was Amandhi's in Beechworth. We returned to Beechworth in the last week of june 2020 and headed straight to Amandhi's,thankfully it was still open! We ate...there on several occasions and had take away, the Sri Lankan food was absolutely outstanding,so tasty and made with so much love by owner/chef Amandhi!More
Thank you so much for the glowing review. It is always lovely to hear that our customers are happy with us. It has been really lovely getting to know you guys and we will look forward to seeing you again soon. Amandhi
I don't usually write reviews, but as an Italian living in regional Australia it doesn't happen often to eat a lasagna that would shame my mamma's.There were all the ingredients for a success like a firm but creamy besciamella, cheese crust on top, homemade pasta,...fresh and tasty roasted vegies plus it looked colorful, good and big. I wish Amandhi adopted me! :-)More
Lol. Thanks for the review Andrea. I wish I could upload the video of you having the first bite...
We visit this little cafe with the big heart at least weekly. It's the little things that count - being warmly welcomed and listened to when we ask for food that will keep us healthy. We appreciate everything you do: from the sambal on the...side - knowing one of us can't eat chilli, to the addition of cummin to the mushrooms substituted to make a dish vegan, to the homepickled onion in the asian slaw, to the perfectly cooked coconut- infused rice. Thankyou today from my healing heart for sauteeing without oil and giving us a delicious wfpb vegan lunch.More
Thank you.
I have been to Amandi's a few times since they opend, and I can honestley say that I will be making this café my regular place to drink and eat The food is fresh from the garden, and just delishes flavours! Amandhi sure know her stuff...when it comes to food! A very clean cafe and a lovely atmoshphere, for the first night last night I tried their ( potluck meals-takeaway ) OMG I couldnt have eaten it quick enough! It was just so enjoyable to eat. Thank you DebC for a lovely review.
Great coffee, gorgeous staff and delicious food - what more could you want?! Chef Amandhi is a local legend - her food and free cuddles are simply the best. Friday night's Pot Luck dinners, ordered on-line, are our favourite meal of the week. Generous servings,...imaginative menu (announced via email each week), take your own containers and a dollop of Amandhi's home made chilli oil......yummo! We are spoilt for choice in this small town of Beechworth and Amandhi's is up there with the best.More
