This was an impromptu lunch with friends. We sat in the lovely courtyard/beer garden area as our friends had their dog with them. There’s also a couple of internal areas available near the bar and the brewing room. Beers, a gin&tonic, and a ‘LemonLimeHopBitters’ were ordered and all were enjoyed with a case of beer and their own Bitters mix purchased when leaving. Hubby ordered the Vegetarian Pizza which looked nothing like a traditional style but he thoroughly enjoyed it. The rest of us tried the Duck&Orange Pizza and rather happy we did. The base was lovely and the topping was very tasty. Note: Our waiter said the venue is booked out solid for the next five weekends with Melburnians being let out of their COVID chains next week and only minimal seating allowed. This would be a top place on a sunny Saturday/Sunday arvo to enjoy company and drinks with friends

The atmosphere is great and very welcoming. It was quite busy but we did not feel crowded as the area is very well set out. We tried a number of the local beers but did not find them memorable. We could get potato chips but food service did not start until 4.30-5pm on the day of our visit.

First visit to Beechworth- Went to Bridge Road Brewers for a mid week lunch. I’m not a beer drinker so unfortunately can’t comment on the brewery side of this business BUT the pizza was great and the house salad was amazing! Great selection of meat and vegetarian options and willing to make alterations. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Dog friendly environment. Great mix of sunny and shaded seating options. Accessible- no stairs with a long path down (may be a bit steep on the return trip up if attempting to do so solo). Will definitely return!

The Pizza was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately though, some staff (maybe the owner) were a bit blunt. Being a hospitality business, I feel that part of your job is to be friendly. After ordering $220 worth of pizzas (not including the drinks) we ask if they have chips. The staff member went onto to rudely talk about how they did not have chips, how they never will own a deep fryer etc. Generally made us feel very bad for asking.. now I get it, it’s totally fine however there was no reason to make us feel like crappy people for asking. Because of this you land yourselves a 3 star review, we will tell our friends who visit Beechworth not to go visit and we won’t return ourselves. Which is a shame because the pizzas were on point and the man who I felt might be the other co-owner was very accommodating.

We went here on the basis of TA reviews. We booked but no table was reserved for us. Staff were incredibly enthusiastic and tried to be helpful but it appears there is only one way things are done and no flexibility. I am a whisky drinker, but you can only have it neat or with or ice, no mixer. Staff offered to sell a separate mixer. Moving onto food, my husband wanted the ham and mushroom pizza but it came with boconcini which he hates and couldn’t be changed to normal mozzarella. The staff assured us he wouldn’t notice so we went ahead. At first it seems ok but then realised it really didn’t have any taste. I had the ribs which were nice and tender but not traditional bbq sauce, still good but oddly served with beer bread with no butter or oil so that really didn’t work. I asked for some butter which was found but it was rancid so didn’t continue with that. So it was an average to disappointing dining experience. Others around us seemed to be enjoying their beer samplers and food, so maybe it just wasn’t to our taste. We do prefer to go to places that can offer some flexibility.

Due to a lot of places not opening this was the only option at time , place looked really good - large spot but all tables reserved for dinner. Not an issue as takeaway was an option and we wanted to eat straight away after long day on the road. Staff seemed unsure we ordered and asked where we could sit - told outside then asked again twice by another member of staff what we were doing - even though we just told him we were waiting for takeout. Thought it best to grab a drink went inside and again almost interrogated about where we were sitting and had we ordered our food?? It’s always tricky with a large venue but some communication between staff would have been good. Great beer as expected and food once it came was great …service meh?

Travelling through Beechworth, we had this recommended by our motel. Large and great selection of local brewed beers, with sample paddle boards or just try a couple glasses. Good selection of wood fired pizzas didn’t disappoint, plus a few nightly special makes for a great dining experience. On a warm weekend afternoon or evening you could easily get Settled in.

We specifically drove out to come to this restaurant but it turned out to be a night that was really busy. We ordered 2 pizzas and went back to order a salad, it wasn’t until we added to our order that they told us it would be a 40 min wait (would have been better to know this as soon as we ordered). This wait turned out to be over an hour. The pizzas were good, but not worth the wait. The tables around us also seemed to be annoyed and the staff didn’t talk to us or update us on our order. Unsure why a venue of this size wouldn’t be more organised to avoid this pressure on the kitchen, felt like too many tables and not enough staff to facilitate them. Entrees should be on the menu, as this would be an easy way to tie over guests as they wait for their mains. Drinks were good, but hard to enjoy when our food order took so long.

We stopped on a Sunday on a VERY hot day for lunch. To bad for us. To busy no seats for at least an hour. We returned later to a virtually empty place, ordered a paddle of beers to taste and a pizza. The service was a bit lacking but I suppose the staff had been run off their feet and with the heat of the day were a bit exhausted. I would like to return at sometime and give the benefit of the doubt, maybe pick a less of a busy time. The beers were different with a thumbs up to some and a once is enough to others, but hey that's what tasting's are about. Your not going to like everything.

We booked a table of 18 - no complaints about the food or decor. however I bought a glass of Riesling for my wife and the girl behind the bar who served me and poured it had filled it about 5ml above the line. Instead of giving me the glass she poured it down the drain. I asked her why would she do that and her response was she’s not allowed to pour over the line. I think in this regard some common sense should have prevailed. I mean seriously the fact she poured it out instead of just giving it to me has left a very sour taste in my mouth and I will not be going back.

Summer sorted, hey! This place is an hour from Bright, around 3 and half hours from Melbourne. They have indoor and outdoor seating - booking ahead recommended. They have some amazing beers to try, if you are unsure where to start ask one of the fabulous staffs or go for the tasting. I love Beechy XPA, can't go wrong with Bling IPA, and the red ale is something you want to try if you are an explorer. Ok, for sure you are gonna get hungry - they have one of the most delicious Pizzas - so just pick a few (if you are groups) and try them. If you are going in a small group the tried and tested are the prawn, fungi and margarita pizza. Hope you enjoy your trip to Beechworth :)

Loved the pizzas. Kids went with traditional margarita/ Hawaiian while the big people liked the prawn, mushroom and hazelnut, duck and orange and apple Gorgonzola (a bit of bite). The beer drinkers enjoyed the paddle of tasters - what’s not to love about a unicorn. The cider drinkers enjoyed that too, though a tad pricier than we were used to for the latter but we don’t drink out much!

The four of us had dinner at the brewery on Ford Street. The young staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The beer was great. But the pizzas - they were outstanding. The crust had great flavour, didn’t go soggy and we cooked to perfection. Terrific selection of types - plenty for meaties and vegos. A great casual meal all set within the brewery. WE DONE!!!

Due to COVID-19 you can't walk around freely, you have to book prior and remain seated with table service. The table service was quick, staff were very friendly and helpful and we couldn't fault a thing. The pizza was yummy and the beers were cold and tasty. Will visit again once all this virus thing has gone away.

We came here during the school holidays and were lucky to get a table, it was very popular, and due to COVID restrictions they have limited numbers. The pizzas were delicious and there is a great range of beers to choose from, I highly recommend the pale ale. Definitely worth booking ahead though.
