This is the place to go if you like luke warm pies, grumpy staff, queuing to order before seeing what there is to order, messy tables and so on. Premade sandwiches rather than fresh sandwich making section was disappointing. Bit of a mess really.

Sorry everyone but we used to love The Beechworth Bakery but sadly we have had our last visit here. The shop is so small with hardly any seating down stairs ( I know there is plenty upstairs but not everyone wants to sit upstairs) with customers queuing so close to tables and then sweating on you to finish your lunch... Having been here several times before as a family, it was another must do on our way back home from Bright. Yes crowded but not as bad as other times so the wait was not as bad as other times. Most of the family enjoyed their food - my date scones were a touch dry, maybe over cooked? It has... More

We decided to get take away for an early dinner. I had the Bushranger focaccia - it was delicious with generous fillings. My husband enjoyed his chicken club sandwich. I'm kind of tempted to return to try the bee sting.......

Best coffee ever and the egg bacon toasted sandwich was delicious. Hubby had sausage roll and latte' and 6 year old hot chocolate with cupcake. Nice place to unwind and very good service

So crowded. Queues for everything. Bacon and egg toastie very dry. So was the bacon egg and cheese toastie. Toast too thick. No sauce. If there was butter it was so little as both toasties were dry and boring. Eggs overcooked and flattened. Bacon under cooked. 15 mins wait for the coffees.

A very beautiful building which seves yummy food. We sat upstairs so that we could enjoy the sun and watch the activity on the street. The service was very good and although a lot of customers passed through there was literally no waiting. There was a good selection of savoury food and sweet goods to choose from.

Very popular with both locals and tourists - great pies and facacias and worth the visit to quench both hunger and thirst.

Beestings are always amazing. But i have noticed a decrease in the quality of the pies and some pastries over the years, and it seems as though the price increases every time i go there. The staff today were below average, and not very efficient. Took a while to get served but didn't bother me as i was still deciding... More

Was at the Beechworth Bakery over the long Easter weekend. Service was amazingly fast, although there were hordes of people. Spoilt for choices with the array of desserts and pastries! Had the eggs Ben wrap and vanilla slice. Thumbs up!

It's here, in Beechworth, that our bakery and our traditions began. Steeped in history as this town - and this region - is, it's a great place to live, work and visit.

Making the most of two historic buildings sitting side by side right in the centre of town, the original Beechworth Bakery was established in 1984. Since then the bakery has carried on the original vision and passion for customer service and quality product, which runs through the foundation of all our bakeries.

We hope you enjoy your visit to Beechworth, and warmly invite you to our bakery - your home away from home.
