Terrific home made, wood oven unique pizzas on a cold night were delicious. The service was great, time to wait, excellent and the taste = amazing. I love this place and always enjoy a meal here every trip to Airey's.

We’d love a pizza place like this in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne! Great (thin) crust and toppings. Our salad was also good. We went here on a Friday night. It was quite difficult to book because you can only call after 5pm and they don't always answer the phone, but we did manage to book a table eventually. We were a little disappointed that our table was...in the corner, near the kitchens but the worst thing about it was that it was so dark where we were. The restaurant in general was well lit and had cutesy fairy lights but where we were was so dark we could hardly see the menu. They need to put a small lamp on the table so that people don't feel so stuck in the corner. The food was delicious, very nice pizza and not a bad price for a bottle of wine, a garlic bread and 2 pizzas. The service was great but we felt rushed out when our waitress came over with the bill and a card machine at 8.10, before we had finished our bottle of wine. Our table was only booked from 7.00 and this made us feel as if we had to leave soon. Overall a good restaurant with tasty food, but definitely some room for improvement.More

Ate at the Captain based solely on Trip Advisor Reviews. It didn’t disappoint. Amazing pizza’s that would stand up to some of the bigger name Napoli style places in Melbourne. Kids pizzas too which is great for families and great selection of local beers. Thoroughly...enjoyed our meals and so did the kids. Highly recommend! This is our favourite Pizza Restaurant on the Surf Coast. The range of Pizzas is very good, and there are a number of side dishes also available. The service is amazing, we were served very quickly after ordering. Highly recommended.

The pizza was good, the dessert pizza was delicious. The service was wonderful. Not sure about the greens and how fresh it was. It very has a good vibe and made it an interesting evening.

It is possibly a mistake to order a salad as a main at a pizza restaurant. Very disappointing, canned beetroot , not roasted as advertised; however the Lethbridge pinot noir was an excellent foil for the bowl of bitter greens. Coffee and gluten free brownie,...with taste of Timboon vanilla ice-cream, redeemed the situation. Wait staff are friendly.More

We have dined here many times over the years and the pizza and service are always spot on. One of my favourite pizza places I have ever dined at and the pizza is consistently delicious. The service is always super friendly.

Our time here was Perfect, from the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly by the wait staff. Our table was really close to the pizza prep and oven area where the Pizza guys were going hard to produce their wood fired Awesomeness. We had...a Cheesy Garlic Pizza followed by a Spicy seafood Pizza that was dead set sensational and washed down with a generous list of local craft beers. Lastly my wife had the Warm Brownie and I hooked into the Dessert Pizza and could hardly walk out I was so full. This was a great night out at a beaut price, good job.More

Who would of thought tradional Italian style pizza down the great ocean road. Little bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. Service was also excellent and friendly. Will return
