Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice location on way to lighthouse, sat outside. Scones were average. Toasty was yummy, ordered the original and ended up buying a couple of jars of tomato relish to take home. My only critique would be there was just one toilet shared by all for...such a busy place.More

This delightful cafe never fails to deliver, with bright and friendly staff, and the perfect toastie. Stopping-over is a definite “must”.

Didn't realize there was a teahouse so close to the lighthouse, pleasant surprise as I wanted a coffee after our walk. I enjoyed the coffee very much and also the plain scone. You can sit in or take away. Friendly service.

Patchy service. At $17ea for a toastie pricey. Opted for a kids toasty at $10 ea. We hadone each. Plus Devonshire tea. The scones however were tasteless and not fresh. Very disappointing.

Cute little cafe at the gorgeous Split Point Lookout. Fresh pastries, decent coffee, great atmosphere sitting amongst flowers and greenery. Cheesecake was delicious!

The staff were so busy chatting to one another that they took a while to notice me waiting at the counter to place my order. There were cups and plates from previous customers piled up on the table outside. The coffees were okay. But it...was overall a disappointing experience. Proximity to the lighthouse was their only drawcard.More

The three of us wanted a light, but healthy lunch. We decided to visit the tea rooms. We are so glad that we did. Everything was delicious. My friend even commented on how perfect her avocado was on her avo toast. The service was good...and the setting perfect. Will definitely visit again.More

This is a very old and beautiful converted house, 50 meters away from the Lighthouse and Eagle rock look out. The famous Frank Costa lives literally 10 metres away. There is on-site parking but it si very limited. Best to park in the car park...a bit further away. The staff are friendly and the vibe is a good one. They also have the best scones with jam and cream on the surfcoast. That is the reason I go there, primarily.More

A few hundred metres from the Split Point Lighthouse, sits the cafe - with a small garden and table settings and on site car park. A resident cockatoo amuses. The staff provide wonderful customer service. A limited menu but delicious offerings - toasties, pasties, home...made cakes! Served with a smile.More

Great location, close to the Aireys Inlet lighthouse, with a rustic and relaxed atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor dining options (out of the wind!), helpful staff and amazing scones! Do a scenic walk with beautiful ocean views across the cliff tops before or after your visit....Highly recommended.More

Fabulous toasted sandwiches proving you don’t have to have a million things on your menu if you do a few things amazingly well. Lovely picturesque outdoor seating, lovely friendly staff. A jewel on the Great Ocean Road. The toasties were so good we forgot to...take a photo (Reuben and Mushroom/mozzarella) and when we remembered it was too late - they were happily in our bellies.More
