The waiters were cute, the soundtrack cool but the food - a lasagne- was microwaved and slooow to come. Overpriced for the fare, if it had been at a roadside cafe I would have been happy but not here at these prices Shame.

In a time when we have to support local business to help them through these tough times and you spend the $ amount of a week of groceries for a warmed up lasagna dripping in water from the condensation and a burnt pizza that tasted...like the dough had been rolled in salt...makes me regret I didn’t get to support another local restaurant. If the owner is reading this, lift your game. I’m just a hungry dude who got over charged for terrible food. Also don’t trust the photos on the Deliveroo app, what you see isn’t what you get...not cool guys not cool.More
On arrival we were the first people there and when we stated the name the table is booked under, the waitress laughed at the name Will and repeated the name twice before another waitress stepped in and said yes there is a table under Will....We were so confused?! We had to ask to order drinks after being sat at the table for 15 minutes. When the pizzas arrived, the waiter didn’t know which pizza was which as he gave me (I’m vegetarian) the special pizza which had meat on and my partner my pizza. We swapped it over so with no fuss as I guessed the waiter was new. The pizza was very nice! The waitress collected our plates and didn’t say a word, not how was your meal or anything. We left feeling disappointed with the service which is a shame as it’s not cheap, however it’s nice food and is a lovely space.More
Classic italian meal (I love it) and very cosy atmosphere. Franchi's brothers are the classic crazy italian guys ! We love to come back to have fun and great food !
Having lived in Paddington for 18 months I must have walked past this restaurant hundreds of times. Last night I didn’t walk past. Absolutely brilliant. Best Pizza in the district if not Sydney. Great antipasti salads and wine list. This will definitely become a regular...now.More
I go to Italian bar every week or so. Every time I go there there are Italians happily chatting away and gesticulating. The wait staff are almost always Italian and the absolutely wonderful Franchi brothers are friendly and sociable. The quality of the antipasti is...excellent: the menu is not huge but everything has always been great. I am big fan of the white anchovies and artichokes to start. So refreshing and with that fabulous Sardinian flatbread to go with it: yum. Pizzas are their main thing, and the variety is good, the bses thin. We usually share couple of starters and share one pizza and we are full. Interesting Italian wines and they even have Grappa. Small seating on the ground floor but a rustic covered courtyard out the back and more seating upstairs means you can usually find a spot. I am going to keep coming back.More
Wow... a trip to Sardinia, delicious pizza's, delicate wines and liqueurs served with love, all from the island itself. Fabulous night!
Lively atmosphere and super pizzas. The generous Antipasto was excellent too. Quirky decor, charming service.
Other reviews here seem great but that just wasn't my experience unfortunately. We arrived around 8:45pm and the place was pretty packed but we managed to get a table as one couple was just leaving. We sat down and were given menus but then were...completely ignored for almost 10 minutes (no table water, etc.). We ordered and the food didn't arrive until after 9:30pm. Maybe they were understaffed? My partner got a pizza which he said was fine and he enjoyed it. My lasagne was ok. But that was the problem. It was just average and for the price I paid for it I was unimpressed. It came on a small kid-sized or entree sized plate, without anything else on the plate other than the slice of lasagne, and wasn't anything special. Tasted like something I'd pay $14 for at a pub, not almost double that. Maybe I should have got a pizza. We went up to pay and were about to leave but then I went back inside to use the toilet and as I did I saw a huge cockroach crawling across the floor and stop right at a customer's foot who didn't have a clue. I just kept walking. Obviously it is an open shop front so there isn't heaps they can do for this, but it just topped off the average experience.More
