We went to the second sitting of the seafood buffet on a Saturday night, the place is ok and staff welcoming but the food was disappointing. The cold items were ok prawns, oysters, bugs and crabs but the hot food was terrible so over cooked...you couldn't eat it. The cheese platter and desert choices were the best of the evening. We won't be back.More
whilst staying at the holiday inn i ate here for breakfast and had a formal dinner. the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious and presented beautifully
Superb meal. And exceptional service. Brought my wife hot water lemon and honey for her cold. A nice touch.
Staff great and restaurant clean and tidy in most cases, food good but quantity poor, prices at the restaurant was high and the food although good was very small in proportion. Bar all this the overall restaurant experience was good and enjoyable.
I stayed at the adjacent Holiday Inn on a business trip and dined at Nortons for breakfast. The buffet was standard hotel fare, but with an option to order freshly prepared eggs. I had eggs Benedict, which was nicely presented and tasted great.
We had buffet breakfast, and it's great, they have PINEAPPLE JUICE!!! I particularly liked the little chicken sausages.
Excellent Seafood, Excellent price, Excellent service. Hard to find better or cheaper in all of Sydney。 Beats the five star hotels anywhere. Will return regularly.
This is an A La Carte restaurant that doesn't disappoint in the food department. The photos below are of the vodka and beetroot soaked salmon, carpaccio and chicken deluxe. (The entrees are around the $20 mark. The mains are around the $30 mark. Sides are...an extra and around the $10 mark). Everything about the food was faultless. Basically it was excellent. The restaurant is very clean and well presented. Suitable for any occasion. The ambience and window seating is good. Nice music playing in the background. Great for romantic, business or solo\party get togethers. Would have given Norton's 5 stars, but the food did take too long to come out (we were the only ones in the restaurant), and that the young lady who served us wasn't welcoming and didn't smile the whole time (total poker face). Otherwise, I highly recommend Norton's restaurant.More
On a recent trip had two breakfasts and two dinners at Norton's. The layout of the restaurant looks promising and the lounge next to it looks cosy and inviting - however during winter the restaurant needs to be heated a little higher. Breakfast is very...pedestrian and has cooked and cold fare - not the sort of quality that I wanted to go back for seconds. Dinner was an interesting experience - the dish that I wanted (an Asparagus main) wasn't available for the first night - no major matter I had two entrees instead. On the second night I thought I'd try again but there was still no Asparagus main and my second choice - prawn entree - was out as well. OK - I may have had bad luck, but two nights in a row of an advertised main not being available (and best non-meat option) was a bit much. In the positive for this restaurant, the coffee is very good.More
