The service is friendly, the food is amazing, the price is fair. The place looks unassuming from outside, but it has great character.

id been looking forward to this restaurant for a while. We made a booking for 5 on a Saturday night which wasn't busy for the restaurant with table spare. The order was placed food delivered then we were forgotten. The food was good portion size...spot on. However no staff were in the area we were in table wasn't cleared off mains and we would have gone desserts. Went up to the bar and requested service none came. Went up again and asked for bill no one came over with it. Then we all got up and went to the bar and paid the bill and stated above to cashier, who just didn't give a toss.More

I ordered coffees & a nutella slice...total price came to $20..went to counter to pay by EFTPOS & get told there's a 30cent surcharge for paying by EFPOS card ! ! Surely you jest me, but no they were serious. I will NEVER go to...this place again...so for 30cents they have lost my business completely And the coffee really wasn't that crash hot either...asked for extra hot & really not hot at allMore

We might have got them on a bad night, but still no excuse. Arrived and had no record of the booking made 30 minutes earlier. Waitress didn't understand us, despite repeating our order twice. Order arrived with two platters when we ordered one, wrong soft...drinks. Food was ordinary and overpriced, especially when we paid for a whole platter we didn't touch. No apology,More

Visited the restaurant with a friend for Saturday lunch and the food was great... Staff were very tentative and professional... Karađorđeva and gurmanska pljeskavica were really nice

Beautiful Serbian food and the service was just as good. Really family orientated and any one is welcome. Prices are more expensive than your usual dinner but it is so worth it and you get what you pay for with high quality meats and food....Overall it was a god one.More

Took the family for a farewell dinner to Madera Kafe - beautiful Serbian restaurant with home style cooked food. Just delicious, every mouthful full of flavour and very reasonably priced. Trying the mixed grill, gives you a chance to sample all the different types of...meats - do your self a favour and ask for half potato half cabbage sale oh and the kajmak (cheese sauce) perfect for dipping the homemade wood fire bread just Devine. A little gem hidden away in a homemaker centre definitely worth the drive.More

We ordered a salt and pepper calamari and chicken ceasar salad for lunch. The total came to $54!!!! On top of that they have a hide to charge you 1.5% to use your card for an EFTPOS savings transaction. The $54 didn’t even include drinks....We had water. Yes the food was nice but $54 for salad, chicken bits and some calamari it’s a joke. Make your card charge sign bigger or put it where it can be seen, at least you’re giving your patrons the option whether to eat there or go if you’re going to charge astronomical fees to use a card where you’re already paying for the service. The only positive was the ladies who served us were really nice.More

Great food with a hint of traditional culture, not just in the food but also with the atmosphere. Prices of meals are more than reasonable, given the portions size you get.
