The food is really good here. Many common dishes (particularly for Australian palates) but then there are a number of less common and much more exciting dishes as well. Take a chance and choose something you are not familiar with, it will be worth it. The wine selection here is also very good and compliments the food well.

This restaurant used to be one half of a two restaurant business. That ended a few years back and both got new owners. To be honest we prefer the other (Wahroonga) restaurant for the taste and also its a bit cheaper, but its much harder to part round there than here. Food was average or a little above average for... I am often underwhelmed by some of the offerings in Sydney's Indian restaurants . This is I am delighted to say ,not the case with the Thornleigh Curry house which is consistently excellent . A repeat visit with my running club provided great service and quality food for the large group that attended .The evening left us well fed and... More

Its difficult to judge an Indian restaurant on the basis of only two dishes, however, I was on my own. I am a big fan of Indian, and have a favourite Indian in Melbourne, which is my basis for assessing this restaurant. I had a Seekh kebab, which was nice, without being the best I've had, perhaps marginally dry, but... More

Stopped in here on a trip to Sydney. We ordered the banquet. The food was wonderful. Really impressed with everything we got and there was an abundance. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. For $30 per head we had a really great meal and more food than we could eat. Highly recommend.

Had dinner here on a Friday night as we fancied a curry. Wasn't too busy, was a bit too hot in the restaurant but aside from that the food was great and a good price. Enjoyed the keema nan, chicken chettinad was lovely and my bf had chicken tikka massala which was also very tastey. The only negatives were that... More

I did take away as had a few friends over for dinner. The taste was not that great and the portions were small for the price they charge

Stopped in hear for dinner on our way to Hunter Valley for a quick meal. The service and food was very good. We have dropped in hear on a number of occasions over the years and never disappointed.

We have been going to this restaurant as our standard Indian for over 20 years. The food is always excellent and always the same consistent very high standard - never had a bad dish in 20 years. The mixed entree (with beautiful mint sauce), butter chicken, lamb korma, dahl are all fantastic. Have not had better at any other Indian... More
