My partner who is native Italian is often very critical of Italian restaurants in Sydney, but everything about our food and experience here impressed him. The focaccia is a must have. Will definitely be back here.

Amazing food and amazing service!! The focaccia al formaggio is the best in Sydney!! Pretty much the same as Focaccia di Recco
An Italian modern venue with pleasant outdoor seating and appealing bakery in which freshly made panini, focaccia and pastries are made. For starters we ordered their focaccia with formaggio, a delicious pizza-style bread filled with cheese, for mains we got the seafood risotto and the...pipis spaghetti. While we couldn't get enough of the focaccia, the two mains were lacking that seafood flavour we were expecting, the spaghetti just tasted like oil and the rice just like tomatoes. I will visit ReccoLab again because of the great service and good location but i will most likely stick to pizza, focaccia and spritz.More
Love this place... we’ve been a few times now and the food and service is consistently great. It has a great vibe and they accommodate small kids and fussy grandparents with a smile. Highly recommend 👌
Rated this restaurant highly. The food was authentic Italian and service was fast, friendly and efficient. While I would likely return to this establishment, I recommend you watch your belongings. We had an item stolen while eating dinner on a Sunday evening on my partner’s...birthday. It really put a negative end to the day. Restaurant said there was not much they could do. Enjoy the food, and company of friends and family at ReccoLab, but watch your belongings - the clientele may not share your values!More
Well what can you say. great Pizzas, even greater starters, nice beer, lovely staff who took the time to talk to customers even when it was busy but never seemed to be rushed and service was excellent. Ask for advice on the starters, you will...get pleasant surprise.More
A must visit for people who are missing the food they had on their last vacation to Italy. Very authentic menu and since my first visit 3 years ago has been a first choice restaurant for my friends and I. Proud to be a local,...but I'd make the trip for it even if I wasn't!More
The food was poor and very greasy. It is an expensive and noisy restaurant run by arrogant waiters. Would not recommend it we will not go back.
Ordered the Focaccia col Formaggio Gorgonzola D.O.P and Molto Buona and was pleased by the quality of the food. Very authentic focaccia served by very enthusiastic and friendly owner, Antonio, and waiter, Antonio. A very good experience! Place to go for the best focaccia in...Sydney! Grazie ragazzi!!More
What a fabulous evening we had at ReccoLab! After our warm welcome upon arrival we got straight into our drinks and antipasti. The young gun Roman chef Patrizio cooked the 'Frittura perfectly. Crunchy and well seasoned on the outside and tender on the inside with...the addition of crispy shards of zucchini. The Prosciutto Di San Daniele in the Caprese salad was exceptional. The delicious wood fired oven bread was enthusiastically used to lap up the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The Focaccia di Recco was sensational. Soft, buttery Stracchino cheese sandwiched between two thin layers of homemade dough...Capolavoro! We had to try the Ravioli filled with spinach because we had seen the owner of the restaurant, lovingly make them by hand as we walked in and we're glad we did. The nutmeg infused spinach is enveloped by a silky pasta in a light, creamy walnut sauce. Understated elegance. The pizza is thin and crispy, the dough is light and airy and the toppings minimal. Just the way it should be people! The service team led by the 'molto simpatico' Antonio were faultless. Giuseppe made sure we were never thirsty and Lorenza pandered to our every need. They were so gracious when they arranged a candle in the Tiramisú and sang happy birthday to the birthday girl in our party. The gorgeous Antonio even gifted her some loaves of artisanal wood fired bread which made for a very happy birthday girl indeed. This restaurant takes me back to the days of real restaurants owned and operated by people who know what they're doing and do it well. We are already planning our next visit :) Grazie ragazzi per una serata veramente splendida! Valentina and Co.More
