I could not have picked a better place to celebrate my birthday. The food was beautiful, the staff so accommodating and the view is brilliant. My guests all said they enjoyed themselves and would return. Thank you to Antione and his staff.

For dining fans wanting to gaze across the harbour and see the rich sea life of Sydney harbour and as sea planes take off and land then this experience is a MUST……. Bookings are a must, weekend brunch until 10.30am and then lunch from midday...onwards…… Fresh food and good beverages on offer! Fish and Chips were great and the variety of salads excellent! Make sure you book, on a summer day is just brilliant CheersMore
nice food though service just needs improvement, some staff tried their best. Slow at serving and taking orders ona quiet day. View is nice.
Having enjoyed an excellent lunch at Empire Lounge about 3 years ago, I was really disappointed to have one of the worst meals in a very long time. 2 of us ordered the tuna steak and roast cauliflower salad which was inedible. The tuna steak...was tasteless, way overcooked and rubbery. I had one tiny floret of cauliflower, and the salad was more like a garnish with no sign of the advertised green goddess dressing. 2 others in our party ordered the market fish which was also apparently tasteless. I asked for salt (which arrived empty) to try and add more flavour. Some ladies at the next table, overhearing our request for salt, asked for the salt after us as their meals, had no flavour either. The chardonnay by the glass was not very nice at all (and each member of our party tasted it and agreed) and we weren't willing to pay $135 for a bottle. The service was slow and not very attentive or professional. Thank goodness the view is beautiful, and company was fantastic!!More
Overall disappointing. Booked a table and was never told there was a function on so the only place to sit was outside next to a large group of intoxicated people that should have been refused service. The waitress seemed to have no idea. It was...so windy that when the food came out it cooled very quickly. You pay $99 for a steak and ask for medium and it comes out rare and bleeding it’s not a good representation of the chef. This was supposed to be a special night and was so disappointing. Never again.More
Superb seafood, super friendly staff, and the best view of Sydney Harbour. What more could you ask for!
The restaurant was extremely noisy and they had for some reason placed the used tables all together rather than spacing us out ( something you’d expect during Covid) . It looked more like a cafe and could do with some smartening up with table clothes,...flowers etc . A fabulous view but on leaving found masked up men refilling seaplane fuel right outside which we had to walk around. The food was pricey for what it was.More
Terrible service and the waiter had no understanding. The food wasn’t even good and on top of all that it wasn’t worth the price. The selection of food for breakfast is very minimal.
Scones overpriced..$5.00 a scone. Cold with hard butter and jam...went in bin...won't bother again. Such a shame
We went for a Sunday lunch. When I arrived at the restaurant and waited at the wait to be seated sign, a waiter came and said, do you need something? Like he was surprised why I was there? The service did not get better. The...food was actually fine and the view spectacular but we constantly had to find waiters for drinks, orders, everything. They were not interested, they seemed hard to find even though the restaurant did not look that busy. I would not be bothered to return. Good service really makes a difference because you will forgive certain things but when it’s bad it can’t even compensate for good food and a view in my books .More
My wife and i reserved a table for lunch. Table service was very very poor. Food was ok but for such an outstanding venue on the harbour, they could do a lot better! King prawns in a dish topped up with ice shavings and a...lettuce leaves salad (extra for salad) , the prawns only very recently thawed. I had to call the waitress to order drinks, to supply salt and pepper, to clear the table, and to get the bill! I finally gave up and went to the cashier desk to pay where I was invited to tip or not tip!! The poor service is highlighted repeatedly by other reviewers, but clearly is an ongoing problem. Give them a message...if more people stay away they may just change management.More
The best part in order 1. The view 2. The food 0. The service This place has everything going for it and could be amazing BUT the service is rubbish For a semi - busy day, we asked twice for a drinks menu...in the end...we got it ourselves, waited 21mins for the bottle of champers to arrive and no atmosphere (conversation, menu details, upselling etc) The brunch menu had way too many spreads and not enough bread (not even crackers provided) - only 1 piece of bread per person was given. Ask for more and you don’t receive any!! Whilst it’s a great concept, good, genuine service could make it much better and bring in more revenue. We spent $35 pp on the brunch plus a bottle of champers. We would have easily spent $50 pp on food and 2 bottles of champers ! Disappointed 😩More
My wife and I visited for brunch on Boxing Day. We both selected the $35 package which we felt was a slightly higher price than usual but made up for by the location right on the harbour. The package didn't include coffee or tea which...we found a bit odd however we were very surprised to see an additional 10% added to the bill. Apparently due to the public holiday. This is, of course, understandable, however it should have been disclosed in the menu prior to ordering.More
Great place, great position. Guy running it is very nice and helpful, unfortunately his service staff is lacking that skill. Need better attitude. Two of the waiters couldn't be bothered to serve us. When we asked for serviettes a bunch of them were thrown on...my phone. Not acceptable Empire Lounge. Such a shame. Encountered two staff like that. Especially the blonde girl shocking service. Lift your game Empire Lounge because you have a special place.More
Quick stop for a drink after exploring Sydney and a relaxing time near over the water and decided to book dinner for tonight. Look forward to tonight
