Always fresh ingredients in all their meals. Meals are excellent. Friendly staff. We have been clients for many years. But don't be put off by the entrance to the Restaurant. It's a hidden gem.

Saturday night dinner. Ordered 7 plates. Mongolian Lamb - not enough flavour laking spice. Sizzling chicken - ok a tad boring. Salt n pepper squid - plain and over battered lacking punch. Man lin wah prawns was nice. Chicken fried rice and fried rice - was nice and simple. Sweet n sour pork - eatable. 70s ambiance. All meals came... More

We were invited to this restaurant by friends. Upon arriving my first impression was not fantastic - the decor is plain and dated, but our experience went up from there. The food was very nice and promptly served, service was excellent - what a surprise! Prices are not cheap, but not overly expensive, 4 of us had 2 entrees and... More

It is like walking back in time. This place is a significant part of Shire culture. The staff are funny. The Mongolian lamb is theater upon arrival and heaven to taste.

Ordinary food, bland, all tastes the same and looks the same. Rice which was supposed to be fried was gluggy, stoggy and tasted oily. Such a disappointment as this has been our 'local' Chinese for over 30 years. Food is not the same. Won't ever go back again.

Love the food. Taste is great. Wide variety. Friendly staff. Decor is dated but adds to experience. I recommend this place to everyone. Go here for my birthday every year.

I have only got takeaway from here. I live in the Shire and on Facebook people raved about this place, best in the Shire. So I gave it a go... and so pleased I did. The serves are large, the service fast, the food tasty, the prawn crackers for free. I recommend the 8 treasures soup which is the nicest... More

Was very happy this this place after reading the reviews. Ordered three separate dishes and all were up to a good standard. Will be eating here again!

Great restaurant with food and staff to match, it is very 90s Chinese restaurant but they're slowly improving that. Kevin, the owner, is nearly always there and happy to have a chat, having been there for over 30 years the restaurant is a piece of the Miranda furniture. Really enjoy the food and if your not inclined to head out... More
