Was here last night for a birthday dinner and OH LORD! As Italian living in Sydney I never put my expectation too high when I go to Italian restaurants however this was definitely an (bad) EXPERIENCE! The interiors and menu have not changed since 1985,...More

Good fresh food with particularly good lasagne....veal dishes were also good. We were there on a fairly quiet night but definitely worth a visit and prices were reasonable.

My wife, two teenage children and I ate at Manly Italian Restaurant while on holiday. My daughter picked the venue as she wanted lasagna. Once we walked upstairs we were welcomed by Lucia who provided wonderful friendly service and the food was divine. We will...More

Having been coming here for years on our trips to Sydney. Simple homestyle cooking- great quality, generous servings and reasonable prices. The seafood is always fresh -oysters, sole and barramundi consistently good. The garlic bread is delicious and the prices reasonable. Doesn't look flash and the...More

Reading the reviews here really surprises me. I love this place, I can't say enough good things. The o it thing negative I'd say is that it probably hasn't been decorated for a good few years....for me personally I think it's part of the charm....More

Large group of people. Decor could do with a makeover or freshen up. Could smell the deodoriser wafting out from the ladies toilet at our table, was a bit offputting. The service was slow but friendly and helpful. The food was even slower and the...More

Where do I start?? Whilst it wasn't overly busy on a Sunday evening, we waited 20 minutes for the menu to arrive. Fair enough, benefit of the doubt! After we ordered,,, 15 minutes for our drinks to turn up,,,and it isn't cheap although the servings...More

Everything was just perfect. The Staff were just wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a Family Birthday Dinner, including bringing our own birthday cake.

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants
