This restaurant used to be outstanding. I celebrated my 50 here two years ago and have eaten here regularly for over 20 years. However it must have have been sold recently because the food is dire and service worse. Served frozen pasta and bland chicken. We had the audacity to raise our concerns and were threatened with the police if... More

The dishes are traditional & enormous. We both ordered pasta & had problems finishing our dishes. The food was tasty & fresh. The restaurant gets very busy on the weekends so booking is recommended. The atmosphere is lively & the staff excellent. The highlight for us was the service although the restaurant was busy we never had to wait for... More

Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Just my opinion but why the huge servings that no one can finish? Please consider the old phrase that "less is more". I will not be going back only because I do not like my plate piling high. Just knock a couple of $$ of the price of each meal and make the... More

We recently took a party of ten of all ages to the Manly Italian restaurant. It was a hit. It's not fine dining, but the portions are hearty, the waitstaff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is of an old fashioned family-run Italian restaurant. You pay quite reasonable prices and we would strongly recommend it.

After wanting to go here for 3 years, I finally made it. The pasta and gnocchi were as fresh as the rumours said. The prices excellent and the service homely and accomodating. Thoroughly enjoyed. Could probably get some better air conditioning but apart from that no complaints. Can't wait to go back.

For years I have visited Manly Italian, westernised rather than regionally authentic, it's consistent, large servings, the restaurant at times is quite busy and noisy, if you can forgive it's interiors and appreciate its offerings you won't be disappointed.

Layout and atmosphere are fine. The quality of food is just average although if you like calamari and prawns my piece of advice is not to order them here. Calamari taste sweet and not very fresh. Prawns are served swimming in abundant sauce and they don't look great either. On a positive side the quantity of food is not scarce... More
