Amazing beer, our favourite one was the Nitro Stout. The food is typical bar fare. However, you must try the chicken wings especially during happy hour 1600 to 1800 when drinks are two for the price of one. On Sundays they do a traditional Sunday roast dinner which is pretty good. All of the staff are extremely friendly and willing to give advice on the beers they have on tap. We did the tour which included a paddle of 5 beers. The tour guide was very knowledgeable not only about beer but also the history of the company. I have to say during our visit to Manly the weather was not good and when it's raining you have to find some cover, Four Pine's is a great place to sit and relax with a good beer and some chicken wings.

Great brews and food! You can’t always say the food is great in a typical “pub” setting, but Four Pines is an exception. We ordered a simple fish and chips plate and Asian veggies to share for lunch. Anywhere else it would be simple, basic, lacking flavour. Four Pines does it right!! The fish batter was light and crispy, and the fish was moist and flaky inside. The chips were heavenly and crunchy (and had amazing pickles on the side). Also the tartare sauce was so delicious! The Asian veggies with the dressing/sauce and the fresh chili and coriander were a perfect accompaniment. I don’t mean to go on, but how good is it to get a “simple” pub meal that is really outstanding. It made our visit a 10 out of 10. Look, Four Pines, your beer is really nice, but your food is freaking TOPS. Keep it up and you’ll overtake Hugos as our favourite lunch spot in Manly!

When we visited Cascade Brewery in Hobart we were surprised to learn that they produce Four Points beer for the area, but at this site in Manly they do create the craft beers on site. The choices and flavors were fantastic! We loved the live music and lively vibe here. We had just walked from Spit to Manly so we were tired and thirsty and super ready for this brew stop. The food was delicious-especially the fish and chips, salads, and Sunday Roast!

After a gentle leg stretch walking via Shelley and Collins beaches it was time to replenish our fluids and the brewery was ideally located close to the ferry terminal. There was a great array of beers to suit any palate or whim in glasses that ranged from big to bigger to biggest. We had a wonderful corner table on the first floor which only improved when the folding windows were opened as sunset approached. The fella singing and playing was great. A beautiful voice and sings we ultimately recognised but gently caressed into a slightly different tempo. Loud enough to hear, but not too loud to interfere with our beer fuelled discussions on linguistic dilemmas. And we also had some food. Two divers tasting plates satisfied our nutritional needs. It was a great evening.

4 Pines exceeded my expectations. On our first day in Manly we went for dinner. It was a Monday and they have a special whereby you get a pint of beer with every meal. I ordered the Barramundi and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were excellent, the barra had an asian sauce that topped it up perfectly. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. My wife had the fish and chips that were also perfect, fresh Gurnard and crisp chips. In addition we each had a delicious craft beer. Perfect start to a weeks ho;iday

We did the spit to Manly walk and stopped at the 4 pines brewery. The staff knew there stuff when it came to their beers and made great recommendations, particularly for the paddle board which I would recommend getting. Would definitely go back there for its wonderful staff and great atmosphere. Only downfall is that the view isn’t great but when with mates that doesn’t matter

We took a ferry here when we were in port at Sydney off of the Celebrity Edge. The ferry was relatively easy to navigate and only a 20 minute ride from where our cruise ship was docked at Circular Quay. After a stop at Manly Beach we did a bit of shopping and then looked for a place to grab a pint. We were quickly greeted with a smile by Tim who was behind the bar. He explained that they offered beers on draft and also flights. We picked one beer that we wanted to try and then had Tim pick the other three. He was excited to steer us in the right direction and made sure he knew what we usually enjoyed. All of their beers were delicious and I was grateful to have his help picking the best ones! We also had time and ordered a flight including ginger beer, lemon lime bitter, and lemon squash along with a can of red pub soda. We had a hard time picking our favorite of those! We had a lovely stop and were able to try a lot of what the brewery had to offer! Also, got our dog fix because Cora was diligently watching her owner brew up unique and tasty beers! Highly recommend if you have time!

We stopped at the 4 Pines brew on our way to the ferry after spending the day at Manly beach. What an amazing place! The 4 pines beers are great to start with and this location is something truly special. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

Greeted with very dry and obtrusive staff...terribly rude manager. Advised management of group of 12 knowing 10 is the COVID maximum however the additional 2 were directed to sit elsewhere... which was fine. Then the manager advised that we weren’t allowed to speak or talk to the other 2 of the party. Manager stated the group would get kicked out if we spoke to them. The sad thing is that there was a table adjoining ours that would’ve accommodated the other 2. Won’t ever return...

I visited during happy hour which runs from 4-6pm Monday to Friday with $7 pints fries and wine. Great value p;ints and I am a fan of the 4 pines brand. I sat on the outdoor balcony and had great bay views towards Manly Wharf.

We stumbled upon this brewery when leaving manly and oh so glad that we did. Now this place gets crowded but you can reserve a table, which I highly suggest. We didn’t have reservations but we’re able to snag a seat at a side table. We had the hazy pale ale and an amber, both weren’t bad but the star of the show was the fish and chips. The fish was fantastically prepared and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. It came with fries, pickles and tartar and everything on the plate was superb. Although the tartar was fantastic, the fish did not need it as it was crispy and flavorful. I’d 💯 go back just for the fish and chips

Good selection of beers available for tasting. Tasting paddles were $20 for 5 beers, or you can buy by the glass. Ambience was good for its purpose - nice large tables, airy open area.

Popped in for a beer at the end of a walk around North Head. It was a few minutes to 4pm when Happy Hour starts. We chatted while we waited, and then the waitress said it was the right time to order. BUT, their till clock is (always apparently) a minute out, so we got charged full price and not Happy Hour price. Considering they told us Happy Hour had started, they said they were sorry - but not sorry enough - no offer of a refund!!

Came across this place as we headed back to catch the ferry after spending the afternoon at Manly Beach. Two floors with open air deck areas, with slightly different food offerings. We had the Manly Mega Cheeseburger with beer samplers, just fabulous!! If we didn’t live on the other side of the planet, we’d become regulars for sure!!

Called in with the family for a quick lunch at this very conveniently located pub/ restaurant in Manly just opposite the wharf area. Good atmosphere, good customer service staff and good products which equates to a very pleasing casual and relaxing dining experience. The food was fresh and the servings were generous and all at a good price. Recommended if in this part of Manly.

Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
