We met some friends and were looking for a quiet place to eat. The food was very special with a selection of different taste combinations. The service was excellent, make sure you listen to the waiter’s spiel about the food - entertainment in itself. As the food is a combination of flavours then putting it into a category is difficult.

I’ve been in Manly for 2 weeks and have been to this exciting eatery 4 times for happy hour (daily 4p-7p). Mostly to inhale the cauliflower and Arancini share plates. Wet your whistle after a day playing in the sun & surf or shopping the Corso with their version of a “Long Island Iced Tea”. It’s creative, fresh and delicious. Additionally, it’s worth a visit just to admire the artistic paint blanketing the entire place. The staff is very friendly as well.

We booked this restaurant on First Table (50% discount on food) and have dined here previously a few years ago. Quite a funky restaurant. Dishes we shared included crispy pork baos , chicken satay and popcorn chicken tacos. All dishes were delicious and full of flavour. If this restaurant was located on the beach the place would have huge line-ups. It’s location does this fantastic restaurant no favours. Keep up the great work.

Wow what a bad experience! Whatever you do avoid this over priced restaurant at all costs. The table service was by far the worst I have ever experienced, they clearly have no clue what they are doing. My main (a small burger and I counted 15 chips) arriving 15min before my partner's meal arrived. We went out to have a meal TOGETHER meaning we wanted to eat TOGETHER not 15min apart...I wish I read the reviews before I decided to go to this poor excuse of a restaurant because if I did, I would have noticed this is something which happens often. We also had 2 empty glasses on the table the whole time and not once was asked if we would like some water, waited about 20 min to be served and another 20 to get our drinks when being served we where told that basically all the fish dishes on the menu were unavailable... and when we asked for the bill the waiter just slapped the bill on our table not asking how our meal or experience was, one other thing I may add is when booking a table you have to pay a $20 booking fee per person which is fair but if you don't spend up to the deposit you dont get a refund, but a gift voucher which I find to be also very bad service and unfair. The one star is for the Arancini balls they tasted amazing but all up there are so many better places in Manly to get a better meal and experience i repeat avoid at all costs... unless you want to waste your money. P.S They weren't busy at all (which they also mentioned when seating us) I counted a total of 5 tables with customers to 3 waiters.

Visited for my Daughters birthday on recommendation of my Daughter who had heard some very good things about it. The Service was okay but they did not have the full menu available, understandable under the current climate. We did however have to send a couple of things back as they had forgotten to add extras or parts of the inclusions on the menu? The food was average at best and for what you paid I would consider poor value. there are much better places in Manly to eat and needless to say we will not be back.

Fun Friday night out. The restaurant was trendy with the street art on the walls. The manager was very attentive and provided amazing customer service and recommendations from the menu. The chicken tacos and the pork bao were delicious and worth an orders we also had the baked cauliflower which was surprising nice and flavoursome! The cocktails were interesting with a twist of peanuts - recommend the whisky sour with peanut flavour 👍

I used to frequent Ze Pickle Surry Hills and was excited to check out Adam Cheers' latest project. PBJ does not disappoint! The staff are friendly and attentive. Whenever I finished my cocktail I didn't have to wait long until they asked me which one I'd like to try next. The cocktails and shots are very nice (I was particularly impressed by their version of a Long Island Iced Tea, as well as their signature PBJ shot). The food is delicious. The menu is diverse, and everything I've tried has been superb. In particular I'm a huge fan of the Peanut Butter Chicken Satay Skewers and the Tequila Fish. The desserts continue the tradition from ZP Surry Hills: they are inventive and completely over the top. I got the Twinkie, and I've never had anything like it before. The restaurant has a nice bar-like atmosphere, and features some really interesting artwork. The pricing is a bit steep, but I think it was worth it. I've already been back once since, and I'll definitely go back again.

We called in here for a late dinner (after 10 pm) and were pleasantly surprised that food was still available and that it was delicious. Service was great. So often in Sydney it's impossible to get decent food after 9 pm. We had some tacos and some tasting plates and it was delicious. I would definitely dine here again.

It's more than just a meal, it's an experience and definitely a must try. We didn't try the main courses as we wanted to try as many dishes as possible so we went for the sharing plates which are mostly street foods from different part of the world and as the name of the restaurant suggests it, a few of them includes peanut butter. My favourite was definitely the Crispy Pork belly Bao! The peanut butter espresso martini is just the cherry on the top, it's delicious! The place is beautifully decorated and the staff were very friendly! I would love to come back again and try their burgers, they looked amazing!

This was not our first visit so we were so excited for a date night. Little did we know service was appalling and food was average. The couple next to us were so outraged they canceled their last meal and bailed. We’re normally quite forgiving and can turn a blind eye if service is good and food is average, vice versa. But tonight was a let down. 10/10 would not recommend.

Went here for dinner last night and absolutely loved it! The service was amazing, so friendly and very attentive. The food was so so good, would highly recommend the beef tacos, they were out of this world. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making our valentines night so special!

Great easy listening music played at the right volume as you enjoy good food with great drinks. Sat in the window people watching. Tried the tacos, ceviche and chicken skewers. Great presentation and tasty. Good cocktail choices, tap beer and a small but good wine list. The Riesling is a winner

Found this place almost by accident and was so pleasantly surprised! Amazing friendly service. Food was outstanding - delicious and a little different to normal tapas. Also the signature cocktails were fantastic. Cannot rate highly enough!

Really enjoyed a fun evening at PBJ. My son had raved about it, already knowing Adam from Ze Pickle in the city. Bella served us and couldn’t have been better - very informative, friendly and fun. Service was great, food varied and tasty. Atmosphere was upbeat. Going back for my birthday!

Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
