Pub food - definitely not fine dining. The $9 pizzas and burgers are great value- the barramundi was overcooked and the token vegetables - beans and carrot- dry and unappetising with no sauce. Stick to the basics and you will be ok. The staff are...More

Wednesday night, 6pm, 3 families of 14 ppl total, found tables, restaurant not very busy. Patrons place own orders, and F&B delivered by staff. Prices are average, even with the Wednesday night special. Seemed well staffed but food orders took longer (25-30) than necessary, esp....More

Had dinner here with wife and friends upstairs in the lounge area. Food was hot and fresh, beer cold and overall a reasonable dinner. Would recommend for casual night out/catch up with friends

We came here for the $18 steak, the food was pretty good but I think they need to get proper wait staff. You ordered your food at the bar and they gave you a number. The waiter that had our food walked around the tables...More

Last visit this hotel was closed for renovations but it was worth it. Always a good place for lunch with a wide ranging menu the dark interiors have gone to be replaced with lighter tones and a beach theme befitting Manly. Two chicken salads took...More

We ate here as a big group and the ordering system was good so we could all pay for ourselves and have unique table numbers. They serve mostly pub like food which is basic but nice. As a quick stop it was fine, nothing to...More

We were in manly for the day and saw that the Ivanhoe hotel had a burger deal on Wednesday for 12 bucks. We decided to check it out after looking at the competitors and we weren't disappointed. We choose the double Pattie burger with everything...More

Lunch with 6 colleagues and excellent choice of venue. All enjoyed meals (fish tacos great but little pricey for what they were), generally reasonably priced and can get wine at pub prices rather than over the top. Excellent service.

We decided to meet at the Ivanhoe as not sure what else was open on a Monday evening. Was not expecting much, but was really happy with the venue - sat outside on the balcony. Monday nights the special is only $19 or less for...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

The Ivanhoe Hotel, a much-loved local pub, is located in the heart of The Corso in Manly on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Offering a refreshing, timeless and sophisticated setting, The Ivanhoe Hotel has a strong emphasis on food, quality and produce. Behind the magnificent heritage facade, The Ivanhoe Hotel's interiors channel a Hamptons-inspired coastal beach vibe while retaining the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere of Manly and a local pub. Boasting 16 indoor and outdoor, relaxed all-weather spaces over three floors, including two of Sydney's most impressive rooftop bars, The Ivanhoe Hotel's spaces are perfect for lunch, dinner, drinks or a night out on the town. The variety of different areas throughout the pub allow guests to tailor their own experiences; whether it is casual large lunches with the whole family, afternoon cocktails in the sun with friends in one of the open-air courtyards, quiet corners for a quick bite to eat or late night celebrations in the surf clubhouse-style second floor bar and open-air rooftop, The Pines. These spaces are also perfect function spots for intimate groups right up to large events of 900 guests. The Ivanhoe Hotel is also home to a boutique bottle shop as well as a dedicated sports bar, situated next door to the main pub, offering one of Sydney's best venues for watching sport with full TAB facilities.
