Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We dined at this establishment last night. While the quality of the food was good and the ambience was quite nice it was extremely noisy and impossible to have a reasonable conversation without yelling. However, the big disappointment of the night was the tiny portion...sizes of the Tabouli and Fatush, staples of any Lebanese meal. One small bowl of each was provided for a table of eight people as part of their meat banquet. Just to make maters a little worse the service wasn’t the best. Not sure if was poor training or just understaffed but it left a bad taste!More

Excellent food. Wonderful service. Difficult to hear over other tables though - this still is no reason not to go. Parking was ok - but book early to make sure you get a park off the main road, anad up the residential side-streets.

Since opening here about 13 years ago Osama and his wife have been creating fantastic Lebanese meals. They are incredibly generous and the quality of the food for the price is unbearable. Recommended : Kadmus Hommous. There is a large selection of entree size dishes...- perfect for sharing. Yes - it gets a bit noisy on a Friday / Saturday night but that’s all part of the fun. It’s BYO only and it’s a few blocks to the nearest bottle shop so come prepared. You’ve got to try this place and definitely book ahead.More

This place is terrible and I wouldn’t recommend. We arrived when only 2 tables were there, yet the man who gave us menus and said he would return shortly never came back. All of a sudden the place was packed and we couldn’t get anyones...attention to order. Mind you, there was one main guy on the floor, a young guy who wasn’t sure what was happening and a girl who was only seating people. When we finally managed to call someone over we were informed we needed a paper menu to circle our selection! Why was that not given to us and explained in the first instance? Took forever to get an answer to a query about an item. The service was so bad we almost walked out before even placing our order, that’s how long it took. It didn’t get any better after ordering. The fattoush was the worst thing I have eaten, it was swimming in vinegar and every mouthful was like taking a drink of vinegar straight from the bottle. Even mixing with the hummus didn’t help. What a disgrace for $17! And why is very expensive Lebanese bread served cold in plastic bags? The noise in the place felt like I was in a nightclub. There were only 2 of us and I couldn’t hear myself think yet alone whatever my friend was saying. I am unsure why this place was so packed as it is so bad. Why are there not more staff on the floor? Why did I have to spend 20 minutes trying to get someone’s attention? Given how many eateries are around, I would give this one a wide berth!More

This is the second time I have eaten here. The first time it was pre Covid and service was abysmal. A friend and I wanted a meal nearby and it was getting late so we once more tried this place but never again. I felt...so bad for the TWO floor staff that were run off their feet trying to please a fairly full restaurant (allowing for restrictions of numbers). Absolutely ridiculous and they also had to man the bar. Mind you with the limited wine and other beverages on offer this wouldn’t have played a major part in them working as hard as they did. Management should be ashamed of expecting so much from the two staff working. I know it’s currently difficult sourcing workers in the hospitality industry BUT why wasn’t the owner on the floor ensuring that service was a far better standard than two people could provide.More

Just a walk in for dinner. Service was non existent. Super noisy. Food presentation was a slop on a plate. Main filler was lebanese bread - no one wants bread as a main meal really??? And don't get me started on the beverage menu -..."Atrocious". Will not be back!More

Fantastic dining experience. Can't fault anything here, the food, the food, the food. Amazingly fresh, fragrant in flavour and plentiful. We loved our feast and couldn't fault any dish. The service staff team also so a good job ensuring that diners are looked after. The...bonus is the owner who welcomes diners and creates a fun environment. Bonus - we were also provided with two free and beautiful dishes - houmus and arnabeet (cauliflower and tahini). A+ and we will be back.More

Dinner at 8.00PM for 4 people.we had been before and expected to be noisy but it was like in a football stadium - could not have a talk across the table. Service was poor. Entrees came OK but then after another 30 minutes 2 waiters...asked if we were finished yet without our 3 main courses arriving. Eventually received 2 main courses but 3rd course asked 3 times where it was. Arrived later when we wanted to leave around 10PM. Food was average - the pulled lamb was over cooked and tough. Will not return.More

I have been here several times and the food is good, a cut above your average Lebanese. HOWEVER firstly, it is quite expensive. Secondly, it is very noisy, to the point where it's not really possible for a group to have a meal together and...have a conversation. Thirdly, I ordered a takeaway meal on Menulog which hadn't arrived by 45 minutes after the specified time, and when I rang the restaurant, they blamed Menulog. I said I was concerned that the food would be cold when we finally got it (and it was), and maybe this system wasn't working out so well for them, and the woman abused me and eventually hung up on me. All she had to do was say "Sorry about that, we've frustrated with them too, try nuking the food for a minute and it should be ok". So no points there for customer relations. That said, their babaghanoush is excellent, felafel pretty good, and the lamb and chicken kebabs (with wonderful garlic sauce) were still very tender even after being nuked. Bread was pretty stale though.More
