Nice staff, but the food was to the point of inedible. Dry, bland and oily mess accompanied by a side salad that looked like it was from the McCain’s packet. Maybe it was just what we ordered and there is other good things on this...menu, but what we had was so bad we had to leave it.More

We visited this restaurant for the first time and we had good service from the staff . The food however was absolutely horrendous. The dishes were dry and others watery and tasteless. One of the dishes looked like a pile of rabbit food - raw...vegetables with dry retried beans underneath. When we arrived home 2 of the children were sick. I would recommend visiting one of the many other restaurants in Crows Nest and avoiding this one altogether.More

Drunken louts at nearby table ruined a special family night out yet the young inexperienced staff let them keep drinking.

We have been going to Montezuma’s both in Crow’s Nest and other places in Australia for years. The food is always great, atmosphere relatively chilled and staff generally friendly. Nachos are awesome as are the enchilada’s and burrito’s and always piping hot. My kids also...love going there as they have a great menu for them & do coloring in competitions which amuses the kids while we all enjoy dinner.More

Absolutely revolting food! Disgusting slime chicken, salad that tasted 3 days old from a coles bag. Do yourself a favour and avoid like the plague. Just horrible.

It was great to discover this local eatery that caters equally well for meat eaters and vegans. The staff were very friendly and polite and were careful to observe good hygiene practices around COVID 19 restrictions. The food was delicious and filling. My only reservation...is that the service was a little slow at times but this may have been due to there not being many staff on the floor. But overall it was a really enjoyable experience and I’ll definitely be coming back!More

Our meal came out and had to be taken back as they made a mistake, we had nachos and tacos - both were bland with no taste and cold. When asked by the young kid waiter how our meal was I told him that it...was very bland and had no taste to it which he responded “sorry I can’t do anything” and put his hands in the air defensively (Why ask then?) Having managed restaurants for years this is the most unpleasant dining out experiences I have had, I’m taking the time to write this review in the hopes to save someone else from wasting their time, money and energy and to the owner to take responsibility to train all their staff including the chefs, or you won’t be in business for long. Good luck!More

Waiter took orders without a notepad or anything and then forgot the orders and we received incorrect meals. 2 year olds meal didn’t come out until after we had almost finished our meal. Generally restaurants will always bring out a child’s meal first, because it’s...incredibly hard to keep a hungry toddler calm and waiting for that long! Food was bland, overcooked and boring.More

This has got to be the worst Mexican restaurant on the plannet and could possibly be the worst restaurant on the plannet. The only thing worse than the appaling food was the appalling, rude, arrogant, defensive staff. When we wanted to complain to the manager...we were told it was his night off. So, what the asylum was being run by the inmates? If you thought the 1970s British comedy series Fawlty Towers was fictional, visit this place. Truth is stranger than fiction!More

We made a mistake with our order (confusion between Guacamole dip and Guacamole side) and had to return the dish. The Manager came to us and said that we would have to pay for the dish. We asked her to let us complete our meal...and we would talk about it while paying the bill. She said that she would remove the item from the bill but first needed to 'teach us how to order so that we could order correctly the next time'. After ruining our experience, she ended by asking us 'I hope you understood and will be ordering correctly the next time'. After our meal, when we went to dispute the bill, the Manager aggressively threatened to call the police on us. Once we said that we were ok for the police to come and sort the matter, she mellowed her tone down and asked us to leave immediately without paying and without creating a scene. She even offered to pay the meal on our behalf. The food was really good. The rest of the staff was considerate. But the Manager totally ruined our experience.More
