Decided to make a booking and rang to book the table for lunch for my partner and myself. We specifically asked for a table outside, firstly to contemplate the view, secondly to stay away from any potential risk of catching Covid. We were driving 20...km and when arrived and were told "WE DONT SERVE OUTSIDE TABLES" !! Our booking was taken, had to provide credit card details while booking (I can understand this kind of practice if this was a restaurant from top shelf, not the elevated pub bistro) We tried to negotiate with manager and when asked for explanation why outdoors booking was taken in the first place, the answer was - bad luck, booking is taken over the phone somewhere else, not at the restaurant. Rude, arrogant, obnoxious staff . Stay away !!!More

The ribs are very flavoursome however, as a whole, the restaurant is totally overpriced. I was horrified at the $13 steamed veges, 2/3 of a corn cob, two broccoli flowers, 2 snowpeas & some beans mushed up with butter & garlic. And for the $60...for ribs, I would like more sweet potato chips, especially when sweet potato is 99 cents a kg at the moment. I saw a tomahawk steak for $130, wow, it's definitely not fine dining so I couldn't justify paying this. The place is bright & airy but acoustics aren't great & the outlook is awful, especially on a cloudy day. Finally, to top it all off, $3 Cakeage per person, really???? I thought that was done. Paying top price in an ordinary location for food that is really just 'Pub Food' is not good.More

Very Disappointing Dining Experience ( including the food ) Dining Midweek in December 2020 & May 2021. 1. I couldn’t book ( over the phone ) unless I gave the people overseas a credit card number :( and apparently “ no walking accepted “ on...a mid week dining . I did later confirm with a manager , and he confirmed this was untrue . 2. No Bibs were issued without a request 3. No Wet Towels or Extra Napkins were issued without a request 4. When I request the “ complimentary “ bread roll the waiter sailed “ we don’t do that any more . Within a few minutes , the table behind us requested it and it got immediately :( 5. The food was warm ( not warm enough) which is part of the reason why It was tasteless . The pork ribs tasted like they were reheated . We did dine here today Monday 10/5 /2021 @ 5:30pm ( not busy ) thinking it might have improved but we had exactly the same experience. I didn’t complain about the food / no complimentary bread because of obvious reasons . I paid the bill with the manager & no one asked “ how was everything “ which used the be the case prior to Covid , even in the busiest times . Quality , Taste & Service is virtually non existent. And for that price , I will go elsewhere. Very disappointed.More

The whole evening was perfect. We got an ocean view right by the window and our waitress Pujan was an absolute gem and looked after all the whole time and made sure everything was perfect. Kudos to the chefs as well because the food was...delicious. We all had ribs, cutlets and steak and it was cooked to perfection. Thank you so much and please give Pujan a pay rise! :)More

We dined there at 5pm today and had a poor experience overall. Incorrect food being delivered to our table 3 times.  Creme brule freezing cold. The food was poor quality,  it was all cooked the same way when it was ordered different Eg. Welldone, medium...well etc. but what makes me wright this email is that when I went to take my son to the bathroom and was absolutely disgusted that it was in a vomiting state to say the least, and it was in this state from the minute we sat down 4.30pm and the moment we left 7pm. I've attached photos of urine all over the floor, toliet paper with fecies on it lying on the seat and spiders x 3 hanging off the roof. Not to mention electrical cables taped up in a wet zone. Absolutely disgusting the toilets in my local petrol stations are better maintained. They w I have referred the restaurant for further review.More

As the title says you will wait some time, service is quite slow. Having said that the food is delicious, it is a meat eaters heaven. Love this place, but set aside some time.

We came for my sons birthday as he loves the ribs. The ribs were nice as usual, however these are the points that couldn’t allow us to give 5 stars: 1. The fries were less than Bondi Hurricanes gives and they weren’t cooked properly 2....The salad was bland 3. I understand from what I saw that the service team started at 6pm, however we came at 5:30pm and they were struggling to cope. 4. The restaurant doesn’t really have a nice atmosphere, I understand it’s Covid, but this is the time they could look into this and adjust. Otherwise was nice but for the price I would be happy to go back to our regular Hurricanes at Bondi.More

I’m absolutely disgusted by the treatment my family & I had last night when we’re about to dine at Hurricane’s Grill Brighton Le Sands. If Wesley Bedil is truly your manager, he seriously in desperate need of some customer service & handling training, before he...is fit to be attending your front desk, let alone be a manager that requires handling situation with your customer! How dare he asked us to leave in such a disrespectful manner, after we waited for so long and when he is the one who lied to us about the availability of the table!! I specifically called before I came to make sure we can dine there, I advised him over the phone that we’re a party of 6 that will be dining in. I asked whether or not we need to make a reservation to dine in or we could just walk in, he advised we can just walk in without needing any reservation. I called when I’m already on my way there from Mascot, so it’s not that long until I arrived there! We came in with only 2 people was waiting before us, I advised him my name and explained that I called about the table for 6 earlier today, he acknowledged and he asked me to wait a few moments as the restaurant is at full capacity at the moment, and I said ok, we’ll wait. As the night progressed, more people came in to the restaurant and waited to be seated, I saw him seating 2 people in (that turns out to be a party of 3) who came in AFTER us, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt, maybe because they’re only 2 people, that’s why they can get in first, we’ll just need to wait a group of 5/6 people to leave so we can be shown to our table. Only to find out when a party of 6 left the restaurant, he let in the other group of people who came after us again to get in first! My mother then said that we were there first and promised to be seated once there is an available table! Instead he said that this group has booked hence can be seated first. I was furious to hear such a ridiculous excuse!! When he came back, I demanded an explanation of why we were not seated first, he said those people has booked from 3 weeks ago when you guys reopened and he cannot give us the table over the people who has made a reservation, and disrespectfully asked us to leave if we’re not happy!!!! How ridiculous and stupid is he???? I called before we come! I SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF WE NEEDED A RESERVATION! HE SAID NO NEED, JUST WALK IN! Yet he has the nerve to say that if I was spoken to him, he definitely said that the restaurant is booked out, so he implied that I lied to him??!! Is this the kind of standard of employees in Hurricane’s Grill Brighton Le Sands has came down to?? All this unpleasant experience and not once he apologised! Instead he just run off, how unprofessional! He had the chance to fix up his mistake when we showed up at the restaurant, if he simply apologise and told us that he made a mistake over the phone, that the restaurant has been booked out, we would just go elsewhere, but to asked us to wait for so long and not giving us the table is simply unreasonable and inexcusable!!! I’m absolutely disgusted and will definitely tell our family and friends to avoid your restaurant at all cost! We dine out for the experience and the food! But when you fail to employ the right people to serve your PAYING customer, no food is worth such a horrible customer service!!!More

Unfortunately we all ordered the pumpkin ravioli, which was perhaps the worst ravioli I have ever had. Packet ravioli which was thick and had little filling _ but worst still was the pumpkin puree sauce which had the colour of tandoori and resembled something from...a can Very very disappointingMore

We had an amazing lunch at Hurricane's yesterday. We were celebrating my friend's 60th birthday and the food and service were simply exceptional. I had the striploin steak and it was perfectly cooked and one of the best steaks I've had in a long time....The staff were friendly, accommodating and professional and they really made our special celebration memorable.More

I don't believe so. They have a few tables outside but I've never known them to allow pets.

I would think a booking would be advisable as they do get very busy, not sure if i noticed any high chairs but the website should provide further information.
