We had a romantic night out here, definitely catch an Uber coz it’s way too tempting to get a bottle of wine! The food was lovely, but honestly not quite as great as a few other times we’ve visited. It was busy though so maybe...just an off night? My lamb was great, my partners steak was very gristly. Service wasn’t great, but could have just been new staff or again a busy night. Everyone was very nice though. Quoi will always be a favourite, I guess I was just expecting a bit more.More

The first 2 hatted restaurant in the Hills. Positives - 1. Good range of wines, affordable prices - Sommelier was personable, helpful in recommendations. 2. Good range of dishes. 3. Location was great!! Overlooking the lake. 4. Parking is easy. 5. Good/attentive service. 6. Restaurant...was full for Wed nite but didnt affect service. 7. The side dishes - pumpkin, carrots were yummy! Negatives - 1. Medium-rare Angus Steak was more medium-well done. 2. deserts well plated and pretty but priced at $18 was a minuscule tasting portion. A 3 layer chocolate cake with sorbet, one expects a slice of cake, not a sliver. The quenelled sorbet was done with 2 teaspoons. The white chocolate with raspberry was equally minuscule. Not after a big portion or plate but rather not a tasting portion. The deserts taste great but the price and portion just do not appeal to customers. If not for the portion of the deserts and the medium well done steak, I would have given a 5 star rating.More

Quoi was our obvious choice for another Birthday celebration. Many people there at 6:45pm on Saturday but staff were very attentive all evening. Giving a glass of sparkling wine to the Birthday girl as soon as we arrived. Menu chooses were well thought out. As...each dish was presented it was explained in detail to us. Extensive wine list from home and abroad. Near the end of our meal people were waiting outside for a table but we were not rushed to leave and Birthday wishes were again given as we left.More

We had heard about Quoi but never been there before. We went for a combined family birthday dinner so had to cater for a range of age group but there was plenty of choice for everyone and they all enjoyed the meals. The Eye Fillet...was cooked to perfection and the sauces had plenty of flavour. The same with the Barramundi. I would recomment the Pumpkin side dish as it went we both meals. The wine list was very comprehensive with both Australian and international wines. The best part was that the wine prices were not excessively marked up like most restaurants seem to be doing these days. Overall it wasn't a cheap dinner but the service and food was well worth the visit.More

Food was quite good, although my wife’s duck course had 1 perfectly cooked breast and the other was inedible (oil soaked). But the service was atrocious. Our first waiter was rude and unorganised. Then, the head waiter proceeded to inform our adjacent table that he...was short staffed and inexperienced staff. Following this, my wife watched as 2 waitresses argued in front of service. For our bottle of wine, we opened it ourselves and poured the entire bottle ourselves. With our food, although it was good, our waiting time was lengthy but luckily we didn’t get the degustation menu. Our adjacent table were only half way through theirs....after 2 hours 45 minutes. If you need to walk up 2 flights of stairs, outside the restaurant, to go to the toilet then you’d hope for good service. But we definitely didn’t receive that here. Definitely cannot recommend and won’t be returning.More

This is the third time we have dined over the past 2-3 years. The 1st visit was very pleasant, my husband & I enjoyed the degustation menu and the sommelier & waiter was very attentive; meals wonderful. We went with our family of 5 in...Nov 2020 & the service was slow, meals didn't arrive at the same time, we each ordered separately - 3 courses. My husband & I went again Valentine's 2021. We chose the degustation menu. No pairing wines were noted on its menu. Also the degustation menu was presented on a very plain printed A5 piece of paper. We also would prefer all Australian wines with courses, not the French wines served. We had to repeatedly ask wait staff for the paired wines after meals had arrived. The drinks waiter was run off his feet & missed some of our meals. Two waitress staff served us, again we think because they couldn't keep up with attending to one table. The director & head chef Joshua greeted us on our very first visit. Since then he has never greeted our table, even when we dined as a family & spent a considerable amount on dining. Service and attention to detail is everything, especially when you choose to dine at an ala carte, hatted restaurant. Sadly we won't be back.More

From the first moment my partner and I stepped through the door we were met with nothing but hospitable, comforting and a beautiful experience. The staff was friendly, attentive and gentle with their beautiful mannerisms when offering drink service and taking orders. This was our...first time there, but will not be the last. Each food option that was recommended by the wonderful head chef (Joshua) was an absolute delight. The 350g Grass fed black Angus Striploin was a true highlight with every bite perfectly cooked and melting in your mouth. A further MUST TRY is the Confit pork belly, lentil, pear, jus. The combination of flavours, combined with the pork itself cooked to perfection left us talking about the dish all the way home. The only downside to the experience is that we were not able to try the whole menu! Even the more simple/side dishes (Broccoli and pesto with toasted almonds and Cauliflower & chickpea) exceeded expectation with the true skill of the chef making these dishes burst with flavours. Whilst giving advice on what to pair these dishes with to make the experience even better. The knowledge from the owner towards food and drinks really made the night an unforgettable experience. The chef (chef Joshua) who runs the restaurant even had his fiancé in that night. She was just as lovely and as welcoming as he was. A true power couple that creates a powerful, welcoming and joyful energy, that matches and accompanies the exquisite food perfectly. A truly life changing experience with the food leaving me speechless from delightMore

The service was good. The food was very disappointing. The key element of a belly pork is the crackling - and ours were soft which was absolutely disappointing. The lamb rack was equally bad - small lean meat surrounded with big, big fat and the...meat was tough - which I found surprising for a piece of lamb. A separate small piece was absolutely black! The sides we ordered were badly burnt- the carrots/pumpkin and hazelnuts - black and inedible(burnt food is carcinogenic). The french fries were shockingly pale - never seen such a colour before, we thought it would not be cooked - though it tasted ok. The steak we ordered came totally unadorned and plain on a plate with absolutely no garnish. The cod was over cooked and dry/tough. The oysters were small and the mornay on top was overwhelming. Our mains did not arrive until nearly 40 minutes after my entree! We came because of the good reviews. But the food have been absolutely a letdown - and it wasn’t cheap !More

First time diners in this restaurant and it lived up to my expectations. Our table of 5 apart from 1 who is a vegetarian, ordered the cote de bouf (to share), the rack of lamb, and the wagyu steak. All were quite impressed with the...presentation and taste. The mushroom truffle risotto was also excellent. The service was on par with the food. The prices were the the expensive side, but worth it for the quality of food and service. Well done, and one I can highly recommend. Probably the best of all the restaurants in this area.More

Venturing out on this special occasion, we chose to return to this little gem, nestled by the lake at Norwest. Sharing food in the Asian style, we managed to taste much across the menu. Excellent variety of flavours, together with a bottle of recommended red,we...managed to occupy around 2 hours of the day. Very good service from the attentive staff. Cest bon.More
