Lovely place with nice staff and food :) please go and enjoy. Tony is the best :) they even let us move tables. Please go for a fun night out!

We couldnt decide where to eat and we noticed how good the pizzas looked when we walked past! We found the food to be delicious, beautiful ingredients and large portions.

Ordered a few pizzas online and one of them had 4 errors to it. I call the store and they refused to send me a new one so I have to DRIVE to the store where they still refuse to refund or give me a...new one. After at least 10 minutes of arguing they acknowledged their mistakes but still declined to refund although they took back my pizza that I had paid for. Absolut scam from the owner Toni! Do not go there, such arrogance towards their customers. Worth to mention at least one lady in the staff was trying to be helpful, she had clearly seen this act from the owner previously.More

We used to absolutely love this restaurant. We are wondering if it has changed hands? After our last visit in Oct 2020 my husband exclaimed he would never, ever consider going again. They brought out the mains at different times so different that we had...just about finished our meals before my daughter received hers. The sauce on the pizza was runny and awful, the garlic bread awful and expensive for what it was. The so called Bruscetta had not garlic or on it. Sad its not what it once was.More

Service needs some work... BUT I always enjoy the food. I've been to Gigi's twice now, once in July 2019 and once in July 2020. Both times I have found the food to be delicious and worth the drive. Their truffle specials were a must...try, however, our waitress didn't even bring them up. It was only because of social media that I knew they were available and had to ask about them. The service is always lacking, which is a pity because the food is worth it. Hopefully management puts a focus on their training and a customer focus.More

I was so excited to try the vegan menu at this Gigi’s but was left so disappointed by horribly rude staff. After receiving notification to pick up our take away order in 30min, we arrived 35min later to be told they hadn’t cooked it yet...but to come back in 10min. After the 10min, we got to experience the rudest remarks from a pizza maker in the kitchen, Daniel, as to “if we want it or not?!” And when questioned the need for such rudeness when we were simply inquiring to the progress of our order, he simply gave us another backhanded comment. We asked for his name from a waiter and who simply played dumb and ignored our request. It was also great to see the pizza maker push ahead dockets and orders of people he favoured which would account for the initial delay with our order. We’re glad we requested a refund and did not spend a dollar with this establishment, though of course the refund itself took another 20min to process. Couldn’t believe the treatment we received tonight and the only saving grace was one front desk staff member, Olivia, who was so lovely, understanding and helpful throughout the refund process. Not exactly how we had planned to spend our Friday night but am so happy we ended up somewhere else where they were friendly and on time with our take away order.More

Firstly we were given a table right by the door even though most of the restaurant was empty. The cold breeze every time the door was opened was not ideal. Secondly the service was so slow - I struggled to get the waiters attention. Thirdly...when our mains arrived 2 of 5 were wrong. We ordered a vegan salad and when we questioned the Parmesan on top it turned out it was a non vegan salad!! One of the pastas came with the wrong pasta. No real apology or attempt to right the wrongs. I wouldn’t bother.More

Took my sisters to Gigi’s tonight following a great meal there a few weeks ago. Had the same super friendly waiter who was absolutely fantastic and a real asset to Gigi’s. Pizza was fantastic and we even had a few spare slices to bring home...for breakfast, yum.More

Gigi's Balmain has so many vegan options and they are SO delicious! I've tried many of their pizzas and pastas and have never been disappointed. So fresh and full of flavour. I very much recommend the Montanara Vegana - SO GOOD! the pastas are all...amazing and they have a calzone STUFFED WITH GNOCCI! If you love tiramisu, you must try their traditional classic tiramisu. Best vegan food!More

Visited this quirky Italian restaurant new years night. Despite being very busy, food delivered punctually and was delicious. It was a great experience to view the chefs at work. Wait staff were attentive and friendly.

We stopped in with no reservation and were promptly seated - water was brought right to table but no glasses for 15’ plus. We ordered and main past dishes were served in about 10’ - nice! GF calzone was another matter and informed 30’ after...ordering it was not an option. Kudos to comp’g the substitute meal.More
